Mark's pov
Chloe never came out to eat or do anything, and since it was late I got some pajamas on. I went to bed, I was still tired, no one judge! It gets tiring making videos all day for my fans.
It was still pretty late, when I got up to go to the bathroom. On my way back, I heard soft singing.
"When this world is no more, the moon is all we'll see. I'll ask you to fly away with me. Until the stars all fall down; they empty from the sky, but I don't mind. If you're with me then everything's alright."
There was a pause, I knew from the lyrics that the song was 'Everything's Alright' from To The Moon. I opened the door, and saw Chloe looking out a window.
"Why do my words always lose their meaning? What I feel," she breathed in. I stepped closer to her, and she look back. Tears gently sliding her cheeks. "What I say. There's such a rift between them. He said; I can't really seem to read you. I just stood there, never know what I should do."
I knelt down by her, and looked at her. She had a look of hurt in her eyes, and they were pretty puffy. I hugged her, and she just cried into my chest. I pet her hair and shhed her. I pick her up and carried her to her bed.
"I'm sorry I woke you up," she apologized pulling back.
"You didn't," I wiped her eyes of the tears that were about to fall. "I like your singing."
"It started out pretty good, but I think my crying got in the way," she giggled. It was the first time I seen her smile. "I'm sorry for being distant."
"It's fine, you have your reasons," I told her.
"I just don't want to get hurt again," she said looking down. I looked at her confused. "I had gotten adopted a few times, but they always brought me back. I never knew why, so after a few times I decided not to get too close to anyone again."
I hugged her, and this time she hugged back. "Go to sleep. We can talk later," she nodded. I got up to leave, but she grabbed my arm.
"Will you stay with me?"
"Sure," I sat by her, and she laid her head on my lap. I grabbed the blanket off the floor, and covered her up. She fell asleep first, but slowly I did too.

-Second chapter! Whoo! I chose that song because it suits her past. Not much left to say, so.... And as always I will see YOU in the next part. Buh-Bye!-
