Chloe has been missing for about two weeks. Mark and Carter still look for any sign of her. Carter still believes Courtney took her.
"Mark, what if we don't find her?" Carter asked, "what if they killed her?"
"Think positive," Mark hated the idea, "just gotta think positive."
The boys and Chica started to go look in the forest. One place they haven't gone.
As they were searching, they knew it was risky, especially since the police suggested they leave it to them. Mark couldn't wait around, he wanted his daughter back home and safe.
"This place is creepy," Carter said. He was holding Chica's leash, giving Mark a break.
"It is a forest," Mark replied, "how long have known Chloe?"
"Since the first day she came to school," Carter knew he'd have to be approved before dating Chloe. "Me and her had quite a lot in common and became friends almost instantly."
"Well, I'm glad she has friends like you, especially with everything," Mark always got sad thinking about it.
Chica started barking, and the boys made her be quiet. People were coming.
"Courtney what are you gonna do to her?" Brianna asked.
"I don't really know yet," Courtney said.
"Don't tell me, you're starting to feel bad," Andrea stated.
"I can't help, my emotions are so everywhere," she said, "maybe I should turn myself in?"
"Are you crazy?" Brianna almost yelled, "you turn yourself in, we all go in."
"That isn't gonna happen," Andrea got serious. "I will tell everyone how you have to take medication to keep you from going crazy."
"Okay I won't tell," Courtney panicked, "just don't say anything."
"Good and sooner or later, Mark will forget about her," Brianna said. They walked out of hearing distance.

Chloe was out of chair now, and she was able to walk around the basement. As she was sitting in a corner, she remembered a letter Carter gave her. She took it out of her pocket and read. He explained how he slowly started having feelings for her.
"H-he feels the same way?" she whispered, "I gotta get out. I need to tell him."
Chloe started to tear up, and thought of something that always cheered her up, singing.
"Think I just remembered something, think I left the faucet running," this song always helped her, "now my words are filling up the tub, darling you're just soaking in it. But I know you'll get out the minute, you notice all your fingers pruning up."
Chloe stood up, she wanted to do more, but her body was so weak from not eating.
"I'm tired of being careful, tip toe, trying to keep the water warm. Let me under your skin, uh oh there it goes, I said too much, it overflowed. Why do I always spill?"
This song is kind of about hiding your feelings, and for Chloe that's a lot.
"I feel it coming out my throat, guess I better wash my mouth out with soap. God, I wish I never spoke, now I gotta wash my mouth out with soap," she sighed, "I feel it coming out my throat, guess I better wash my mouth out with soap. God, I wish I never spoke, now I gotta was my mouth out with soap."
