Levi's POV
Every day I got up and went downstairs and prepared my bar for the night. It was a constant in my life, but today was different.
•••
I went downstairs and looked over the light filled room. The polished wood gleamed in the early morning light and the bottles on the shelf behind the bar glowed. I walked behind the bar where I spent so much of my time and bent over to grab a cleaning solution and cloth to wipe the already spotless tabletops. I was rifling through the cupboard when I heard the ding of the door opening.
I stood up and started to say that I wasn't open yet until I noticed who it was.
"Oh, hey Erwin" I said casually.
"Guess who I just signed on last night" Erwin asked excitedly. I immediately knew who he was talking about. The newborn Internet star Eren Jaeger.
"No way!" I said in shock, the guy has only been out there for, what, three days? And Erwin has already found him and tracked him down, it was insane.
"Yes way, found him last night in the park a few towns over, I am so lucky" Erwin was fangirling over one of his clients, how strange. Erwin than looked down at his watch.
"Levi?" He asked seriously.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I would like to hire you, I know you have been looking for a job in the industry and I have an opening for assistant manager" He explained. I stared at him open mouthed, was he for real? Doesn't he have someone with more experience he could put in that position?
"Look Levi, do you want the job or not?" He said, seemingly deflating. I jumped on the chance, this was exactly what I had been looking for, though I would still need to mange the bar, it had a really good reputation and I was the only employee since I owned the place and I never liked any of the people who applied.
"Yes Erwin, I would like the job" I said simply. He smiled.
"Great, be at the Scouting Legion building tomorrow at six, you my friend, will be managing Mr. Eren Jaeger" Erwin got up and left without another word.
Holy shit. I was going to manage Eren. Fucking. Jaeger.

The sun was setting and I was starting to get customers coming into the bar. It was called the Wings Of Freedom because a lot of people believe that alcohol makes you more free-spirited and loose. And wings just sounds cool. A regular named Mike came up to the bar and sniffed me.
"Levi" He stated, and that was all I needed before I was off getting a shot of bourbon ready. I pushed it over to him, the small glass slid easily over the smooth, polished surface.
"Thanks bro" Mike said before sniffing the bourbon than downing it in one gulp. He than threw fifteen dollars at me and pushed up from the bar and walked out the door. The same thing he did every night. I had a lot of strange stories about people who have passed through here. Kids who's night has been rough, adults who's lives are just too boring, and people who need to escape reality.
I was forced out of my thoughts by a girl clearing her throat expectantly. I looked up from where I was washing Mikes glass. The girl looked, maybe seventeen, she had dark grey eyes and black hair.
"Excuse me, have you seen a boy about my age with brown hair and bluey green eyes about" She raised her hand pretty high. "this tall" I shook my head 'no', and I couldn't help but notice her canine teeth were sharper and longer than average, but I pushed it aside.
"Sorry I haven't" She huffed angrily and walked out of the door, it dinged as she left.

The rest of the night was relatively empty so I closed the bar and went to bed early, I had to wake up earlier than usual tomorrow anyways.

The next morning I spent extra time on my outfit. I wore a pair of black skinny jeans and black combat boots with a plain white tee and an open grey hoodie, I considered wearing a fedora but decided against it, I would look too hipster. I grabbed my keys and headed to the ally behind the bar where I kept my car. I hopped in and ignited the engine and made my way to my new job.

I had a chauffeur take my car off of me when I entered the huge roundabout up front where a grand fountain spewing crystal clear water welcomed me. I entered the main plaza where Erwin was waiting for me.
"Hey Levi, you ready?" He asked already ushering me towards a silver and black modern elevator. I didn't bother answering his question. Once we were inside he punched the button leading to the eleventh floor.
I felt sweat gathering on my palms I was nervous, but like hell I was gonna tell eyebrows. The elevators opened with a ding.
Here we go.
I walked out into a open plaza area where an unmanned receptionist desk lay along with two other work stations. Erwin led me past them and into what looked like the master office. He opened the tinted glass door to reveal what was inside.
A desk lay near the back of the room, two bookshelves rest on the walls beside the door and music posters decorated the walls, even a few awards, and the blinds were closed, letting in a limited amount of sunlight, how odd. But what stood out to me was the boy in the desk chair with his feet propped up on what looked like a very expensive desk. He had somewhat long brown hair and eyes that were Caribbean blue with green and turquoise, they were hypnotic. Though I had to be professional.
"You must be Eren Jeager" I said kindly while extending my hand. Eren stood up and shook it, his hands were shockingly cold.
"You must be Levi Ackerman" He said cockily.
"Yes, and I am your new manager"

Alrighty than, here is Levi, just so you know this book is probably going to be pretty long because I want a lot of plot development and the characters slowly and realistically growing together.
QOTD: What is your favourite T.V. show?
AOTD: Mine is Supernatural, for obvious reasons, if any of you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it.
Thanks for reading!
