Monster

Erens POV

We soared through the night, high on adrenaline, giddy with the excitement of what we just did.

Not a word was spoken between us until we landed in front of the dark blue and white door of The Wings Of Freedom. I looked over at Levi. His hair was tousled by the wind and his eyes almost glowed with happiness. His cheeks were slightly red from windburn.

It was beautiful.

"Thanks" I said breathlessly, all the air had been sucked from my lungs during flight. He glanced over, head cocked to the side.

"For what?" He said monotonously. I smiled, thinking over our night.

"For everything, teaching me about this" I said hitting the 3DM gear.

"For spray painting with me, and just for staying up the whole night, just to spend it with me" I said, smile growing wider on my face. Levi looked away. What was it with him?

"Yeah, well, it was nothing" He said with his face still turned away from me. I took the moment to look down at my phone. 6:52.

Levi and I got zero sleep... and we had to be at the Scouting legion HQ in an hour and eight minuets. I walked into the bar, I heard Levis feet indicating that he followed.

The sun rising through the large front windows stung the back of my neck, but I had started getting used to the pain, it didn't bother me nearly as much as it used to. I heard Levi yawn, the cutest little mewl came out of his mouth afterwards.

I ended up yawning like a hibernating bear afterwards.

"I think your meeting your band today" Levi said through yet another yawn. I nodded, not even remembering what he had just said.

I sat down at a booth with the 3DMG clanking loudly against the table as I did so. The next thing I knew, the world I was in ceased to exist.

I opened my eyes only to be face with the harsh, burning light of the risen sun. I saw a reflection out of the corner of my eyes, I looked over to see Levi's black hair, shining in the natural light. His face was relaxed in sleep and his mouth was slightly parted. Every breath he took sent his bangs rising a bit and than falling back into place.

I stared, I don't even know for how long... Well, at least until his eyes fluttered open.

"E-Eren? What time is it?" He said running a hand through his slightly disheveled black hair. I watched intently as the silky strands slipped through his fingers. I looked down at my phone.

"9:32" I said, eyes widening once I realized how late we were.

"Shit" Levi got up quickly, stumbled a bit and grabbed his keys off of the bar. I followed him as he rushed out the back door, when he opened a gust of wind blew his scent into my nose.

I was suddenly more aware of his slightly increased heartbeat.

Shit. I hadn't eaten anything in a while. I had to control myself.

I was walking through the door when my phone rang. Erwin.

"Yeah?" I said, holding the device to my ear.

"Where are you? Have you heard from Levi?" He asked quickly.

"I'm with Levi, and we are on our way. Don't worry, I was with him all night" Shit, that came out wrong.

"What?!" I heard Erwin question from the other end.

"No no no, thats not what I meant!" I said waving my hand around. I felt Levis amused eyes on me. I looked over to where he leaned against his black Mercedes.

"Look Erwin, we'll be there in twenty minutes" He said I better, my band members were waiting. I than ended the call and made my way to Levi.

His scent washed over me again, causing hunger to flare in my needy stomach. I doubled over due to the pain of the emptiness that demanded to be filled.

"Eren?!" Warmth encircled me. Levi's arms.

Next thing. I knew, I was being pushed into his car. His heartbeat filled my ears, and it took all the restraint I had not to sink my already fully lengthened fangs into his pulsating neck. I felt something wet on my chin. I reached up to touch it.

A sharpened nail scratched my chin, revealing a crimson liquid. My teeth were digging so hard into my lip, it was bleeding. I pulled my hood up to hide my hideous state. My eyes were probably glowing like the embers in a fire. I couldn't let him see.

He would leave me. My only friend would leave me because I am a monster, a killer.

I sniffled, hot tears ran down my cheek. Why did this happen to me, why did that stupid client have to bite me? Why?

Because life is cruel.

"Eren? You alright?" A voice, gentle and soothing, but so. Fucking. Tempting. I felt my muscles tense, ready to pounce on my unsuspecting prey, but I just barely restrained myself.

A hand touched my shoulder.

"Don't touch me!" I cried out in fear of him pulling the black hood of my sweater away from my contorted face. I felt the hurt radiating from the bartender. His pale hand slowly withdrew and returned to its place on the steering wheel.

"R-right, sorry" He stuttered. I felt a constriction in my chest, pain in my heart. Damn, I really needed food, at least I think that's what the pain is from.

Once the enterprise approached, I moved to get out an make a mad dash for the elevator before Levi pointed something out to me.

"ODM gear" He pointed to the device around my hips. I kept turned away from him as I undid the harness and let it clank to the floor of the almost empty parking garage. As soon as the metal hit the floor, I bolted at high sipped to the metal door leading inside.

The first thing I did was hit the button to my floor.

QOTD: Who is your least favourite and most favourite AOT character?

AOTD: Don't hate me for my opinions plz... favourite is probably Levi and Hanji, least favourite is probably Krista/Historia, sorry but idk I know in the manga she is like, super important, but I just don't really like her personality all the much, idk, don't hate please.
