Levi's POV

Erens show was rapidly approaching and we had to get him ready. Today we were doing a huge variety of preparations, we were choosing his outfit, his set list, and we were finding people to play the instruments. Earlier in the week we had set up an audition for people with skills on the electric guitar, drums and keyboard. Eren would be playing acoustic by himself for a few songs, but he still had a bunch more that needed backup.

I pulled out my phone. I was currently driving to work right now. I opened the group chat with Eren and Hanji, it exploded with notifications. We all had weird names that Eren made... I was Captain, Hanji was Glasses and Eren was JeagerBombtatstic. Scrolling up through the conversation I realized that they were talking about what would happen to house pets in the zombie apocalypse and how sad it would be to go in a pet shop. It was actually kind of disturbing to think about, all the animals trapped in cages, and nobody to feed them. I cringed and typed in what I initially went in for.

Captain: Meet me in the Dressing Room

JaegerBombtastic: Aye aye captain

I grinned at his odd behaviour... Actually, if I thought about it, I didn't really know much about him.

Captain: Eren?

JaegerBombtastic: Ya?

Captain: I would like to get to know you better...

Man this is so awkward to type, I feel like an old man trying to learn about modern technology, slow and outdated.

JaegerBombtastic: Alright, u can come up to my place after work today :)

Captain: Thnx

I had debated putting a smiley face on, but thought it would freak Eren out, so decided against it. I put my phone down and finished the drive to The Scouting Legion.

/\ Srry, wanted to do that...

When I got to the dressing room Eren and Hanji were already there. I could see the backs of their head as they browsed through Erens clothes. Hanji held up leather jeans and a maroon muscle top, which Eren looked disgusted about. Hanji then seemed to notice.

"Levi!" She said clapping her hands together. "We need your help picking an outfit to make all the girls swoon over Jeager here" She said patting Eren on the shoulder. Eren sent a sharp glare in her direction. I felt my eyes cast downwards a bit, a small pool of unrecognizable emotion started swirling inside me. It got me in a bad mood almost instantly, though I wasn't going to show that... I hope. I shoved past them, recurring a satisfying release of breath from Hanji, Eren managed to maneuver out of my beeline for the clothes rack. I began flipping through outfits quickly. The hangers skid across the rack in an unpleasant sound. I ignored it.

Why was I so angry. So what if Eren was the new teen heartthrob, why did I care if he had thousands of girls lining up to see him sing.

I had to be professional about this, letting emotions cloud my vision might get me fired, and I love this job so much, I would rather not lose it. My eyes saw an outfit.

Black, ripped skinny jeans with a slanted belt, half out of the belt holes. It had maroon vans with black laces and it had a leather vest with a hood and a red shirt with a maroon splatter pattern on it, like blood almost.

Blood. I never wanted to think that word again. I have shed enough of that sickly substance in my life.

I pulled the attractive outfit off of the rack and passed it to Eren. He looked at it and smiled, so bright and warm that it melted my heart. I felt like disintegrating under his grin. I looked down sadly, knowing that if I smiled back, he wouldn't feel the same way I do when he smiles, so what's the point.

"Thanks Levi, I would have never found that" He said, aquamarine eyes glittering in the artificial light. And than I remembered.

None of his fans will see those eyes, it will be concealed by his mask, only we get to see that, only we get to see his beautiful eyes. The thought made me feel a bit better about my position.

"Yeah, no problem"

Auditions. Currently we were in the nearest community centre renting a room for auditions to be in Erens crew. We had at least 300 people waiting in line, we have already gone through most of them, we have had 7 who stuck out and will be called back in after we go through everyone, we still had to cut some of them.

{}{}{}

"Armin Arlert" I called. The blonde boy walked into the middle of the room where a keyboard was waiting. He gingerly placed his hands on the keys and looked back up at me.

"Go ahead" He started playing for the second time, I payed close attention to the way his hands moved along the keyboard, it was really amazing. They flew across the board with elegant grace. I looked at Hanji, she nodded, approving of the boy in front of us.

Hanji spoke after he was done.

"Your in"

Next we had to cut out all the others who played keyboard and bring in the drummers. We had three who were legible, though another artist named Jean Kirshstein was looking for a new one so we were looking for him as well.

"Sasha Brauss" I called, a girl with brown hair and a bag of potato chips in her hand walked over and sat at the drum stand. She first did a few hits on the bass drum before going all out on the rest of them, it sounded incredible, and somehow by the time she was done, her bag of potato chips was also empty. She was really good.

"Thank you" I said, not giving her a definitive answer yet. She bowed and walked away.

"Marco Bodt" A boy about Erens age walked up, he had close cropped brown hair and freckles. He played the drums really well, but not as good as Sasha, than the last person we had was far out of their league.

"Sasha, you will play for Eren Jaeger, Marco, I know we didn't advertise it, but Jean Kirshstein is wanting a drummer, would you be interested?"

While Sasha was freaking out, Marco nodded excitedly saying he would be honoured.

Next we brought out the guitarists. We only had two. We only had two, though Ymir and Krista were looking for one for their new album, so we were going to give them whoever had lesser skill.

"Connie" A short boy came on stage and picked up the guitar and started playing, there was a reason he made it to the finals, his finger movement was incredible and the sound was amazing.

"Thank you" I wrote down what was good and what could be worked on and called out the next and final person.

"Mikasa Ackerman" A girl with long black hair and oriental appearance picked up the guitar, unlike Connie, she played a sad, but upbeat song, providing what felt like a timeless element to her music. I immediately knew that she was who Eren needed on his team. I told them their status and sent them on their way. Hanji and I cleaned up and head back as the sun set over the city.
