Levi's POV
I woke up, my skin feeling tight and sticky. I blinked to clear my vision, and even though it was dark I could clearly make out Erens pale form laying limply beside me. His Caribbean eyes were laying softly shut and his chest rose up and down gently. I felt a small smile come to my face before reality slammed into me as I felt a prodding on my lower lip. Fangs.
I had almost forgotten the events of the day, Eren bit me. Eren a vampire, sunk his teeth into my flesh and turned me into a vampire. To be fair I did ask him, but now I am thinking back on my decision. I was in a haze, and in the heat of the moment I wanted him to do it, I needed him to. The idea alone of his jaws latching onto me had sent me almost over the edge. It was irrational to make a decision then, because now I can't go back. Now I can't undo it.
I am a vampire now.
I can feel the bloodlust pooling inside me, I can feel the stone of my no longer beating heart in my chest. I can feel the cold arms of death wrap around me, I was terrified.

As Eren was unnecessarily snoring beside me I felt a painful claw of hunger tear at my stomach. I looked over at his sleeping form. How could he look so beautiful even though he was a monster. How could he blend in with humanity even though he is far from human, it almost seemed like a sin. But that was Eren for you, a devious and determined brat, if he had the slightest desire to fit in, he would surely make it a reality.
But vampires don't sleep.
Why was he out like a light, why wasn't he moving? I felt panic set into my growling stomach and hesitantly placed my hand on his body, it was- no. It was warm.
At least he was alive, but why the hell isn't his skin cold, like it has always been, why does he feel like he is running a fever even though his body is long past circulating blood?
After a few moments of excruciating pain From hunger I decided to leave him be for now and grab something to eat. I still wasn't completely comfortable coming in contact with blood, my past kind of screwed that up for me, but now that I am a vamp I will have to get used to it. I walked out into the main area and made my way to the silver fridge filled with kindly donated blood bags.
I reached in and felt my pale fingers curl around the squishy bag, a sickened feeling forming in my gut. I pulled it out, closing the door with a soft thud and looked at the bag in my head. The crimson liquid gave me physical pain to look at, I could only imagine what it would be like to ingest it. The thought sent a shudder of dread down my spine.
I knew I needed this to survive, I knew that after all of this, blood passing my lips would be the endgame. I didn't understand why I willingly subjected myself to this lifestyle, this body. I can only imagine how pale, lifeless and disgusting I looked right now. I dropped the dreaded blood bag on the counter, ignoring the wrenching in my gut.
I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror. An image I never expected to see was in front of me, a version of me that I couldn't distinguish was hellish or heavenly. My previously tired and sunken eyes appeared full of life along with my sunken cheeks. My skin was smooth and the shade of fresh porcelain. My lips, previously thin, and cracked were now fuller, soft to the touch and a light pink. My hair that used to just hang off my head was now naturally styled and tossed to one side and glistened, black as oil. I smirked at my appearance, slightly wondering if this is what happened to Eren. And what did he look like before.
But my eyes caught my attention, they weren't grey, they were red. But if I remember correctly Eren said that his eyes turn red only when he is hungry, so hopefully that explains the maroon overtaking my irises.
I sighed and ran a hand through my freakishly perfect hair and forced myself back into the kitchen where my foo lay untouched on the counter. I was sitting on a barstool staring at the bag intensely when my ears picked up a slight rustle. I spun, expecting to see a person, but to now avail, the room was empty. I turned to look back at the blood when I heard a loud sneeze. I spun at the speed of light once again, only to be greeted with air.
Now I was really on edge. I got off the rotating bar stool, careful not to make a sound, and followed the rustling sound that had once again made an appearance in my brain space.
The sound led me to Eren who was simply moving slightly under his covers, I assume he was also the one who sneezed, but why it was so loud when I was in the other room is beyond me.
Eren, with his hair all sleep tousled and eyes still shut spoke.
"I know you are probably really jumpy right now, just try to ignore it ok?" He spoke quietly and his voice was gravelly from not being in use for a while.
"Thanks" he nodded and gestured for me to lay beside him. I blushed an looked away when he pulled my sleeve and brought me down on the bed.
"Stay"
