Quinn POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I rolled over and turned it off. I looked at the door, "Are you still here?"

"I never left," I heard Hannah say. I smiled to myself. I had a vampire sitting outside my door, she has saved my life twice now. Where was she a few months ago I thought. I shook the thought from my head and went to the shower. My thoughts drifted to Hannah, she was gorgeous, those glowing eyes, that smile, are you kidding Quinn she's a student. Who am I kidding she's a vampire, I should be more worried about that. I felt safe around her though, I mean she had plenty of opportunity to kill me, but she saved me.

I got dressed and made my way down stairs, I didn't find Hannah, but I found a note.

Quinn
I went to change, I will be back quickly. Please don't leave without me and stay inside. I made you breakfast its on the table.

I turned around and smiled, she had made eggs, bacon, and toast. I had just finished breakfast when the doorbell rang. I think I jumped half way out of the kitchen. My heart started racing and I heard giggling on the other side. "That's not calm" I heard Hannah's voice through the door. I swung open the door and glared. "Sorry" she mumbled.

"I will follow you to school, we don't need people seeing us ride together." She said. I nodded my head and headed outside.

"Where's your car?" I asked her.

She just shook her head, "you still have a lot to learn." Before I could blink she was on the other side of the road. My mouth hung open, I seriously need to ask more questions. I couldn't help but look into the trees while I was driving. I was going 75 mph, and she was beside me the whole way. Once I arrived, I just sat in the car. I felt vulnerable, in my house behind locked doors, I felt safe. I looked in the rear view mirror, I could see Hannah standing on the outside of forest.

Walking through the halls I caught myself starring at the students, human, werewolf, or vampire. Jesus Quinn pull your shit together. I had a hard time focusing, I kept looking over at Hannah who kept giving a reassuring smile. 4th period should be starting soon, it was my free period and I knew Hannah would be here in a few minutes. I heard my door shut and lock. Why would she lock the door?

I looked up "Meredith" I whispered.

"I told you I wasn't done Quinn and now you don't have someone to hide behind." she said stalking towards me. I've seen that look one to many times. My heart started racing, "Meredith please dont," I begged.

"Quinn has begging ever helped you, no, and it's not going to help you now," she said raising her hand I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. I heard a loud noise and a scream. When I opened my eyes Hannah had Meredith pinned against the wall by her throat.

"I'm guessing my warning last night wasn't strong enough. So lets try this again." Her tone was different you could hear the growls coming from her body. She picked Meredith up by the throat, I had never seen fear in her eyes until now.

"Hannah let her go," I wanted Meredith to leave me alone, but I didn't want her dead. Hannah shook her head, Meredith's face was turning colors. "Please Hannah," I begged. She lowered Meredith to the ground and let go of her neck, she gasped for air.

"Don't let me catch you around her again," Hannah warned. Meredith shot up and ran out the door, Hannah still had her back to me. I started walking towards her, but she held up her hand to stop me. Her breathing was heavy and I knew she was trying to calm down. "Please turn around," I wanted to see her face.

She shook her head, "I can't we are at school." I was confused at first, but what she said last night came back to me. She can't show herself to a human at school. I backed away slowly. I was scared to know what she could do. "I'm not going to hurt you, but damnit Quinn you have to calm down." I realized my heart was racing, I wonder why that bothered her so much.
