Hannah POV

I know it's creepy, but I couldn't help but to sit there and watch her sleep.  The rise and fall of her chest was a beautiful thing to me, I would never want that taken from her.  The thoughts of today were fresh in my mind.  It was the second time she had almost kissed me, and the second time we were interrupted.

What confused me the most, is I didn't try to stop her.  As much as my mind told me not to let it happen, my body was telling me something completely different.  I wanted her to kiss me, I wanted to feel her lips on mine.  When my father had made the comment that her gift was getting stronger, I couldn't have been happier.  The look on Meredith's face when she realized that her power was growing was priceless.  I just wish I knew what she was thinking about, and how I could help.

I decided I had starred at her long enough, and made my way down to the living room.  My father was sitting on the couch watching Twilight.

"Really father?" I asked him looking horrified at the TV.

"What it has a great ending?" He said smiling at me.

"What that Edward had to save a human, by changing her, how is that a great ending?"

"You're looking at it all wrong.  He refused to change her throughout the series, but love took over and he did what he had to do to save the love of his life."

I just shook my head, "That's why it's a movie and not real, and I mean really he sparkles in the sunlight really."  We both started laughing.

I sat beside him and put his arm around me, "I don't know when your going to lose your stubbornness and see what's right in front of you."  he said kissing me on the cheek.

"There's nothing to see father, I'm doing the task that I was giving, and I'm trying to help her find her full potential of her gift.  What more is there left for me to see."  He just shook his head and sighed.  "She's obviously getting stronger, I mean you saw how that wolf flew back, I can't even throw one that far, so something is obviously working."

"If I had asked you not to protect her, and you knew she was in danger would you have helped her  That first day of school you already knew she was your soul mate, but if you didn't have the task of keeping her safe.  Would you have walked away that day?"

I looked up at him, "Well no but,"

"No buts, no excuses, would you be as determined to help her Hannah."

"Of course," I responded.

"Why is that?"

"She's my soul mate, she can't get hurt, but the situation is completely different right now father.  I don't need to worry about a silly crush, when in just a few short months, she could be gone.  We need to focus on finding her gift."  He just sighed and through his hands up in the air.

"How come nobody else can see it but me."  He was frustrated.

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh come on Hannah, everybody see's it but you two," I turned and Zander was coming down the stairs.  "You are obviously falling for her, as is she.  Just get it over with already, because really the games are getting old."  I looked at my father who was smiling.

"I am not falling for her, plus she just thinks I'm a monster.  She would never want to be with me."

"That's why she almost kissed you today.  Yes! Twilight's on I love this movie." Zander said flopping down on the couch.

"You two have no clue what your talking about," I said heading back upstairs.  I didn't want to talk to them anymore.

I heard Zander say, "I wish I could sparkle,"  I just shook my head and walked back to my room.  I sat on the bed beside her, looking down at her.  It's not possible for you to like me, as much as I crave you, those feelings could never be the same.  I thought to myself.
