Meredith POV

I walked through the forest tearing it apart.  I was beyond pissed, all my attempts to get rid of Quinn and Hannah had failed miserably.  I needed to kill Quinn before she reached her gift, she was my only enemy at the moment.  I told myself that I needed to quit playing these games with these children, and go after the real reason I had returned.

I was still walking when I heard familiar voices, I couldn't help but smile to myself.  Quinn and Hannah where near the lake, and it seemed like things might start looking up for me.  I stayed far enough back not to alert them of my presence, and thankfully for my sense of hearing I could hear the whole conversation.

I watched and listened as Quinn started yelling at Hannah, "I don't even understand why I trusted you Hannah, you have done nothing to help me.  I don't even get why I thought that I wanted to be with you."

"Damn it Quinn I have protected you all this year, if it wasn't for me you would be dead by now and you know it."

"Well you know what, I don't want your damn help anymore Hannah.  The only reason you want to protect me anyways it's because you were sent to do that.  You don't care about me, the only thing you can care about is yourself."

"Well I'm sorry if my family is important to me.  I didn't realize that my job would be to take care of someone who can't even figure out the gift they have.  I mean seriously Quinn, this has been going on for months, all you have to do is figure out one simple thing, and all this hell would be over.  People wouldn't have died if you could have figured it out already."

I watched as Quinn brought her hand up and slapped Hannah across the face, "fuck you Hannah, it wouldn't matter if I figured out this gift a month ago or in the future, it still will not bring back my parents.  You were not the one used by that monster, you were not the one who seen her shred everything you loved apart.  So you can kiss my ass, I don't want your help anymore.  I'm going back home, and I don't want you to follow me.  Stay away from me Hannah, maybe being away from you is what I need."

I watched as Quinn stormed away from Hannah, and I couldn't help but laugh.  "foolish girl, she didn't realize that all she had to do was fall in love with Hannah, and all this would have been over.  I knew Quinn all to well though, and I knew she would never fall in love with Hannah."  I walked out of the woods and started laughing.

Hannah turned quickly and growled at me, "Oh don't worry, I don't want to fight right now.  I just want to relish in the fact that I've won the battle, and very soon this world will be mine, and you and your little followers will all be dead."

I turned and walked away from Hannah smiling the whole back to the pack.  I called a meeting immediately. "It looks like our luck has changed, Quinn has finally decided to return home.  This is our opportunity, we will not strike immediately because I know Hannah will still have the plan to protect her.  We will watch her and we will wait, I know Quinn all to well she will not be able to stay cooped up in that house for long.  Once she is alone in the forest, we will find her and I will kill her.  No one else is to touch her is that understood."  I watched as all my creations nodded their heads.

I turned and looked up at the sky, now we just had to wait for Quinn for be stupid enough to leave her house.  I picked my most trusted people to follow her, and once she left the house to let me know.  I smiled to myself in victory, I had waited many years to get what I wanted.  Finally all the waiting and the patience has paid off, now I just needed to wait a little longer.

After a week I was growing impatient, I figured Quinn would have left by now.  There had be no sign of her from my people who were following her.  Hannah had not showed up either which was a good thing.  I knew she couldn't stay cooped up forever though, I had spent a lot of time getting Quinn to fall in love with me, and if there was one thing she wasn't, that was patient.

That following night, I got the news that Quinn was on the move.  She was heading towards the lake, and I knew it was now or never.  I gathered my troops, knowing that after tonight most of them would die.  They had been so loyal to me, but only a handful may be worth keeping.  We started towards the lake, once I spotted her I just smiled.

"It's not safe for a pretty woman as yourself to be sitting out here alone Quinn." I said growling at her.

She jumped up quickly, and for some strange reason her eyes showed no fear.  "I figured you were waiting for me Meredith, and I finally decided I don't want to live anymore.  So here I am, take me, torture me, or kill me I don't care anymore."

"Oh I will kill you, but not tonight.  First I'm going to make you watch me kill all your precious little friends you thought you made."

"Meredith leave them out of it for now, I am here and I'm willing to go with you.  It's me that you've wanted all this time, so just fucking do it already."

I just grinned at her, "You know what your right.  I've waited a long time to do what I'm going to do you Quinn, and I promise it won't take long."  I started walking towards her and as I grew closer I watched as she just grinned at me.

Within five seconds I was surrounded by creatures I had never seen before and Hannah was standing beside Quinn.  "You really are as stupid as I thought you were," Hannah growled at me.  I then realized I had been the one trapped.
