Quinn POV

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed, the thoughts of the night before fresh in my mind. I had never had anyone make me feel the way Hannah had. The things that she did to my body sent shivers down my spine. I wasn't able to return the favor, she wasn't ready for me to touch her yet. Even though I wanted to make her feel, just the way she did to me, I didn't push the subject. There is definitely another pro to being a vampire, their energy level is off the roof. I giggled to myself at the thought of how many hours we had spent together last night.

I took a quick shower before heading down to the dining hall. When I walked in Collin was nose deep in paper work as usual, of course he looked up and smiled, "You have an amazing glow to you this morning." He said smiling at me.

I couldn't help but feel the heat rise to my cheek, as I'm sure everybody in this house knew what had happened last night. "Feeling better I assume?"

"Much better thank you," I said quickly sitting down and ducking my head.

"Please don't do that, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Hannah seemed very happy this morning as well." Collin said, I couldn't help but smile.

"Where is she?" I asked looking up at him.

"Breakfast," is all he said, and I just nodded my head. I'm assuming after last night, she would be in there for a while.

"Is it possible for Hannah to feel love for someone?" This made his head shoot up quickly. "I mean can she feel love?" That still didn't come out right and I just shook my head.

"If you are asking if we can fall in love with someone, the answer is yes, that was one of the few human feelings we were left with. It is very confusing feeling at first, because it only happens once in a vampires life time." I just nodded my head.

"Only with their soul mate?"

"That is correct Quinn." He said smiling at me.

"Once my full gift is achieved am I still human?"

"I was wondering when this question would come up. Yes you are, but you are not as acceptable to danger. You can still love, feel the same feelings as a human, bear children, and you will every grow old." He said smiling at me. I frowned at the last part, I didn't know if I wanted to grow old without Hannah.

"I already know the next question you are going to ask, and I will as a vague as possible, because I will not be part of the decision. Yes you can be turned, and yes you will keep your gift, and that is all I will say." I knew not to ask him to give me more details, because he would not.

I opened my mouth to ask another question, but decided against it. "Please ask?" He said smiling at me. I don't know why but this man had seem to take a role as my father figure, and I trusted him completely.

"Well I know that my powers are getting stronger, and I know what my happy memory is now. I just don't know how to make it grow into full power, and I feel like I'm running out of time."

Collin stood up and walked around the table, he bent down in my ear, "Love is powerful," he whispered before walking out of the dining room. I just shook my head, there he goes with his riddles again. I ate the rest of my breakfast in silence, and deep in thought.

I was startled quickly, as I felt arms wrap around my waist. I quickly realized it was Hannah and leaned back into her. "I have something I want to show you," she whispered in my ear sending goose bumps down my back. I just nodded my head, as she took my hand and led me to the back yard.

"Close your eyes," she whispered as she reached for the door. I closed my eyes as she led me outside. "Ok open them," I was more than shocked when I opened my eyes. There must have been over a hundred deer standing in the back yard.
