Hannah POV

Everything has became extremely complicated now knowing that if Quinn doesn't find this gift before the school year ends, she's going to die.  The past couple of days, me, Trent, and his pack have been on high alert at school.  We haven't noticed anything strange, which worried us even more.

"They are planning their next move," I whispered to Trent while at lunch.

"I know but we can't find them anywhere.  When they are in front of us we have a scent, as soon as they vanish it vanishes also.  That boy is no help, he won't talk." Trent whispered back.  I could feel eyes on my back, when I looked over my shoulder Quinn was watching us.

"Any luck on the gift thing?" Trent asked.

"No I think she's completely shut it down, we still have plenty of time, I just need her to figure this shit out quickly." I said.

"Help her, your her soul mate," Trent whispered.

I let out a low growl warning he was crossing his boundaries, "I'm not doing that, she may be my soul mate, but I'm not crossing that line, Trent."

"Damnit Hannah your going to have to stop being so stubborn, you told me that a couple of times when something weird happens it was when you were around.  If you want to save her life and ours you better fucking do something." He said getting up and grabbing his tray.

I laid my head down on the table, "What was that about?" I heard Quinn ask.

I just shook my head never lifting up my head.  "We are all just worried, nothing strange has happened, which means they are planning something, Trent and his pack can't pick up on scents after they disappear, and there's been no sign of Meredith anywhere.  She just fucking vanishes."

My father's words rang through my head, "HOME NOW, TRENT AND QUINN ALSO," I jumped for how loud he was screaming, I never heard him scream before.

"Shit, we have to go," I grabbed her hand, and caught up with Trent, "We need to go now.".

"I'll meet you there," He said.

"Hannah what's going on?" I was looking out the window I had let myself change and was having a hard time controlling myself with her so close to me, but I can see better when I'm changed.

"My father yelled for us to get home now, he never yells it's something bad," I said never turning my head.

I felt her hand on my arm, I pulled away quickly, "Don't do that right now please," I asked her.  When she touched me it took all I had not to bite into her wrist right then and there.

"Would it be better if I just let you do it?" She asked.  I turned my head quickly forgetting I had changed, she jumped a little in her seat.

"Fuck," I said rubbing my face.  "No it would not be better if you let me do it, plus I can't." I said.

"It's ok, I just wasn't ready, and why can't you?"

I just put my head back on the seat, "Quinn you'll never be ready to see that.  I can't bite a human, even if your my soul mate, I can only do it if." I was saved by the fact that we were pulling up to my house.  I went to jump out of the car, but she grabbed me.

"If what," I was holding my temper back.

"You've got to stop doing that," I said pulling away from her and getting out of the car.  Trent rushed out of the woods, his clothes in his mouth, I just shook my head.  "That must suck," I laughed.  He just growled at me.

We were sitting at the table waiting for father, Quinn leaned over, "Our conversation from earlier is not over." She whispered.  I grabbed the sides of the chair, God if she only knew what I could do. My father entered and I stood immediately. Trent and Quinn looked at me funny.
