Pic of Holly above for y'all 😝

"Holly!!" I yell.
She turns around and smiles when I run up to her.
"Hey girl!" She says pulling me into a hug.
I pull away and smile as everyone is looking at us.
"Hey guys this is Jordyn." Holly says introducing me to her dance partners.
"Hey." They all say smiling me.
I had interrupted their routine but no one seemed to mind.
"I'm glad you're feeling better." Holly says smiling.
"Yeah me too." I say laughing.
"Sorry if I interrupted you guys." I say to the group.
"No it's cool we needed a break anyway." Matthew says.
"You guys were great." I compliment them.
"Thanks, we're still working on it though." Matthew says walking over to me and Holly.
"I'm Matthew by the way." He says.
"Nice to meet you Matthew." I say smiling.
"Holly's told me about you." He says.
"Oh no." I say laughing.
Matthew laughs and steals a glance at Holly.
Uh oh.
It was probably just my imagination.
I push those thoughts away and turn to Holly.
"I'll let you get back to dancing." I say smiling.
"Ok, I'm glad you're feeling better." She says.
"Thanks, I'm just gonna stand back and watch." I say as Holly walks away with Matthew.
The group starts the routine but something's wrong.
No one is listening to Matthew, who is the instructor, instead their watching Holly.
"Stop stop stop!!" Matthew yells out.
Everyone stops and turns to him.
"Since no one is listening to me Holly's gonna help me." Matthew says.
"No, you don't want me helping you." Holly says surprised.
"Yeah I do, out of all of us you've been dancing the longest, you're one of the best." Matthew says smiling.
"Um I don't think so." Holly says uncertainly.
"Yes!" Everyone yells.
Holly reluctantly walks up to Matthew and he gives her a reassuring smile.
"Ok let's start over." Matthew instructs.
The group starts over and this time is almost perfect.
The dance was quite fast and hard to keep up with but everyone seemed to do great.
I was quite impressed with Holly.
She was a great instructor.
The competition is still two months away and Holly has been so nervous.
I stood against the wall and watched until the class was over.
Holly ran over to me, totally out of breath.
"Hey! You did great!" I say hugging her sweaty body.
I know you're thinking gross! But she's my best friend I don't care!
Holly pulls away and looks into my eyes.
"Last night you said you needed to talk to me." Holly says concerned.
"Yeah um.. I found something about my mom..." I say.
"What?!" Holly looks even more concerned now.
"Yeah um.. She-" I start but Matthew runs up to us.
"Hey Holly! You did great!" Matthew says smiling.
"Thanks." Holly says returning the smile.
"Well I'll see you tomorrow." Matthew says turning to leave.
"Bye!" Holly calls to him.
"Bye!" He calls back.
Holly smiles and turns back to me.
"So what did you find out?" Holly asks.
"Um.. Can we go somewhere more private?" I ask looking around at the people still in the gym.
"Yeah, let's go to my house, you can tell me there." Holly says grabbing her phone and sweater then turning to leave the gym.
I follow her out to the parking lot and she gets in her car and I do the same with mine.
By now my hands are sweaty and my stomach is churning just by thinking about my mom.
I push those thoughts away and drive to Holly's place.

I park next to Holly's car and get out to meet her just getting out of here car.
God I'm so nervous!
This new information about my mom made me sick.
I tried not to think about it but it was permanent in my brain.
"Jordyn you don't look too hot." Holly says walking over to me.
"Yeah, let's just get inside." I say.
Holly nods here head and leads me inside.
I step inside and grab onto the doorknob to keep myself from falling.
I felt dizzy and lightheaded.
My palms were sweaty and dots danced around in my sight.
I shake my head and close the door.
"Jordyn are you ok?" Holly asks concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine." I lie.
We walk up to Holly's room and close the door behind us.
I sit on her bed and she does the same.
Bile creeps up my throat as I open my mouth to talk.
"Jordyn?" Holly asks.
"Yeah I'm good." I lie again.
Holly sighs and grabs my hand.
"Just breath." She says looking in my eyes.
I take a deep breath and blink away the dots from my sight.
"Saturday night I searched my moms name..." I say closing my eyes.
"What did you find?" Holly asks me.
Tears flood my eyes as I think back to what I saw.
I just couldn't process what I found out.
Holly pulls me into a hug as I realize tears are streaming down my face.
"Jordyn it's ok, whatever it was I'm here for you." Holly says hugging me tightly.
I nod my head and hold onto Holly tightly.
"Just take your time." Holly says smoothing my hair with her hands.
I continue to sob on Holly's shoulder as she rocks me back and forth trying to calm me down.
The pictures just keep coming into my mind.
Why hasn't dad ever told my about this?
Didn't I deserve to know what happened?
Well now I know and it hurts more then not knowing.
How could she do this?
How could dad keep this from me?
I was angry.
Angry at my mom.
Angry at my dad for keeping this from me.
Angry at myself for snooping around and finding out.
But I needed to know what happened.
I needed to know why she left.
But damn it hurt so bad!
Holly continues to comfort me, not pressuring me to tell her anything.
Just being there and comforting me.
I wipe my tears away and pull away from our hug.
"You ok now?" Holly asks me.
I shake my head no and she takes hold of my hand.
My brain was swimming with the pictures and the words that appeared on my computer screen.
Pictures of my mom.
My dad.
And even me at three years old.
How had I never heard of this?
I look up to meet Holly's concerned expression.
"I promise it will be ok." Holly says giving me a reassuring smile.
I nod my head and close my eyes.
Mentally preparing myself for saying the words out loud.
I hadn't even confronted dad about this.
What would I say to him?
How would he take it?
I didn't want to think about it anymore but my mind had different ideas.
This would be something that would stay with me forever.
It would haunt me everyday for the rest of my life.
There was no forgetting this.
There was no way to turn back the clock and make it not happen.
This would be my story for the rest of my life.
Finally I brace myself and open my eyes.
Holly is looking at me waiting patiently for me to tell her.
She didn't pressure me or push me to tell her.
So I took a deep breath and started to tell her.
"I found out why she left.." I start.
"Why?" Holly asks cautiously.
"When I was three... She tried killing me.."

Oh and the secret is out!
