The next few days, we had to leave Sarah’s house. Mikey had to trade in his car and get a van that was big enough to fit all five of us and more. More, I didn’t know, but we could sleep in it comfortably. Sarah didn’t seem to happy when the demons overran her house and tried to burn it down. It was weird being on the road for so long. Mikey was content with driving. Ray was sitting in the second row of seats and Gerard and I were in the far back. Sarah was in the passenger seat, refusing to leave Mikey alone on whether we would stop somewhere later that day.
I lay in Gerard’s arms, his wings wrapped around me. We were on the floor of the van, the windows were tinted so well that no one would see Gerard’s massive wings if they drove by or walked by when we parked. He kept placing soft kisses to the back of my neck and my whole body shivered. He kissed just behind my ear and down a little, my weak spot. I couldn’t help but to let out a tiny quiet moan. Gerard chuckled quietly in my ear and wrapped his arms around me tighter. Ray and the rest of them had already considered to just ignore the noises Gerard and I made. They got a weird screen wall thing that would normally be used as a screen o get changed behind and put that right behind Ray’s row of seats so they couldn’t see us.
It was weird, because now we were the prey and the demons were the predators. Shouldn’t it have been in reverse? We should have been hunting them rather them hunting us.
