"Please talk to me, Nic," Darren pleaded once we went inside his room. Although we didn't have anyone with us as of now, since all of the Espanto's were out for a reason that I don't know, we still decided to take up a little argument in his room. "Nic,"

I remained silent as I went to the bed and sat there, feeling the soft cushion under my bum. I felt the bed deepen and that's when I found out that Darren sat beside me, his hand grasping my left hip and his chin on my right shoulder. I can basically feel Darren's hot breaths against my neck, and the feeling was exquisite. If we weren't really in a soon to be argument as this, I would've begged him and set the bet aside to have him above me.

"Nic, please," he pleaded again and I felt his head tilt, trying to meet my eyes. "Talk to me,"

"You know Darren?" I asked him lowly. "I feel a little stupid."

He shifted in his position and sat up straight beside me, but the comforting warmth that only Darren's hand can provide was still on my hip. "Tell me."

"I don't know," I bit my lip as I struggled to rack my mind to find the proper words. "Would it be weird that I feel like I am so affected regarding Athena's words? Would it be weird that in the first time of my life, I felt so insecure?"

"Don't let her get into your head," he sighed then held my hand with his free hand. "There's nothing to be affected about, Nic."

"But I feel like her words were true," I confessed. "I mean, who am I really? Who am I to deserve someone like you? You know, I feel like you deserve someone else better than me. I am... I am just this. I'm so plain, so simple, so petite." I listed out everything that I am insecure about myself. "And you... you're... you're the greatest definition of all the positive words in the Dictionary, Darren. I don't deserve you. Athena was right. So, if you would replace me with her, I won't blame you. She's beautiful, she's talented, she's everything in the world. I got no match to her."

I looked at Darren eyes and saw that he had a hint of anger and annoyance flashing through those small eyes. "Don't say that!" he hissed as if being careful and making sure that it would only be the two of us that would hear his words. "I deserve you and you deserve me! Nic, I don't care if you're so plain, you're short and you're simple. I don't care. I love you. I can see pass through those things because I love you." he said, "And in my eyes, you're the most beautiful girl in the world. You're the best of the best, nothing more and nothing less, Nic." I looked at his eyes and was about to say a smart remark but he beat me to it. "I love you, and... ugh. I just love you. I don't care about your looks coz in my eyes, you're beautiful. You're perfect. And you're as talented as her, maybe so much better than her. I mean, who else could be with me in the final six in The Next Star?" he chuckled right after he linked his forehead on mine and his body trapping me to where I am.

I opened my mouth to say something but he stopped me, "Wait, I'm not yet finished," he held his index finger against my lip and it took all of my self control not to kiss his finger. "I want you to know that even if Athena is the last girl in the world, I would never get to her. I would never ever be with her." He said as looked at me in the eyes. "I would chase after you, wherever you go. Even if... even if you stop loving me, Nicole, I would never stop loving you." he says and if it would be weird if I say that I was close to crying, I won't judge.

"I would never stop loving you, Darren." I pointed out to him and looked at him in the eyes too. "I love you. I love you so much that I cannot stop." I confessed. "I love you more than anything in the world."

The look on Darren's eyes made it clear that he was incapable of forming any more words to say. I mean, I was too. I was too struck with his words that it took all of me just to form everything I have said last.

For now, I was a believer of action speaks louder than words, so instead of doing more talking, I linked my lips on his and the sweet taste rejuvenated my exhausted mind and body. I wouldn't blame Darren when it took him a lot of time before kissing me back; I knew in myself that I kissed him out of the blue. But soon, he responded to my kiss with the same intensity. Our lips were moving in sync, savouring every inch of each other's lips as we kissed tenderly.

I didn't protest when I felt Darren put all of his weight on me and pushed me down the bed along when he pushed his tongue in my mouth. The moans I was holding on since we kissed now erupted lowly as I enjoyed every passing second. His hands were at either side of my head and his legs were trapping me, steadying me against the bed. His whole body was against mine, restraining me to do anymore movement and by the feels of it, I was sure that Darren didn't want me to do anything more than just to kiss him.

His once fixed hair went messy when my hands found home in there. The once silent room was now filled with our panting and heavy breathing. I know that he knows this would lead into something more than just a make out. Just by the intensity of the kisses, it was enough to tell that this would lead the two of us to the next step of our relationship. "I want you," he whispered once our lips separated for a while and the three words confirmed my theory.

I reached up to him and linked my lips to his again. There was this big feeling that I could only feel whenever I am with Darren, whenever I am connected to him by all means. That feeling was way stronger right here and right now.

I looked at him, hiseyes showing all the love and lust he's having. "I want you, too." I told him.With that, he connected our lips together again and both of us knew that wewould be spending the night with passion and love.
