Darren's lips were mesmerizing, it made me go lost. I don't know what I was completely doing but I soon figured that my lips were dancing with his in sync. His hands found home on my hips and mine were resting around his neck. This was crazy. Darren was kissing me and I was kissing him back.

The first time I kissed Darren played in my mind. It was when Darren admitted that he loved me right after that small competition we joined long time ago. At this moment, there was no doubt that I still feel the same way as I did when he kissed me before.

My head seemed to be spinning and my body was fully ignited from its long rest. After five years, I felt like I was alive again. After five years, I was doing this again. After five years of living in cold, I finally felt the lively warmth that Darren gives again.

The hands of the man I was kissing were resting on my hips, their rightful place right from the start. Our lips moved in sync, each moulding into the other as though they were two matching pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. It's been so long since I felt the power of his kiss and the effects it gives whenever I get a dose of it. Darren's kisses were drugs. They were drugs that I can't get enough of even if I just came from some sort of rehabilitation.

Our lips danced in perfect rhythm. His lips taste the same just like how it used to be. It was still sweet and there was a hint of mint on it. His tongue swept through my bottom lip and I was finally back to what and where I am. Oh no, this isn't happening. When Darren realized that I didn't grant him his request of entry and that I stopped kissing him, he stopped as well and looked at me.

We were quiet for a while, and I was so weak that I wasn't able to move away from him, our foreheads attached to one another, and the tips of our noses brushing mindlessly against each other. It was mind blowing how I felt so alive when he kissed me but turned weak when I pulled away. But then again, this is Darren Espanto we're talking about.

"Say something?" he breathed, his pupils evidently dilated from the intimacy we just had.

"This is wrong, Darren, so wrong." I breathed as I pushed past him and went to the direction of our rooms.

"Wait, Nicole, please!" he said as he tried to stride after me but I picked up pace, making it more difficult for him to chase after me. One thing that I love about my legs is that even thought they were short; they can bring me somewhere fast when I walk or run with them.

But of course, Darren's legs are longer so he still got after me and held me by the elbow. "Nicole, please," he practically begs at me.

"Darren, please," I mimicked him, "We... we cannot do this. Let go."

"Nicole, please, just hear me out. I... I have something to admit to you." he says. "I... I still love you and nothing's c-changed. Please, please don't go away from me a-again."

"Darren this is wrong in all points! We cannot do this and we are not going to do this." I told him. "You're with my sister for one and for two... I don't... I don't want to be the reason of ruining your relationship with her,"

"You aren't ruining anything—"

"Darren, can't you see it?!" I asked him, my voice louder this time. "I don't want to be the reason of ripping the two of you apart, even if she did it to us before! There's no reason, no point at all!"

"But I still love you and I want you to love me again. I want to be with you again, just like before." he says. No scratch that. He cried. "I know I was the reason of breaking all the good things between the two of us but I want to be the one to restore everything I have ruined before."
