I only waited for Sister Connie to bring little Darren out of the room where Darren Espanto and I were standing at. There are things that kids should not see and I have a feeling that this is one of those things.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Darren, my teeth gritting hard on each other.

Darren grinned, "I volunteer here too," he says, "This is where I met Darren,"

"You're not stalking me?"

Darren's eyes widened although he still seemed amused, and the sight of his lopsided grin was infuriating that it took all of me not to lunge to him and strangle him there and then. "Why would I stalk you?"

"You ask yourself that question, why would you stalk me?"

"I don't know what you're playing at!" he defended himself. "I'm here because I really am a volunteer! I've been donating to this orphanage for years now, I swear! You can ask Sister Connie,"

Feeling my cheeks burn in both annoyance and embarrassment, I stomped away from him, only to turn back around, "I sure will ask Sister Connie about this!"

"Yeah, well good luck with that and I hope you won't be disappointed to the answer that will surely say that I am not stalking you!" he screamed to me as I walk away, his shout ringing bells in my head.

Of course he might be really a volunteer in here. Sister Connie and little Darren adore him. I will just make a fool of myself if I ask. If anything, I might be the one to appear as a stalker.

And how stupid was it of me to think that Darren was stalking me? Was I being assuming? Perhaps. Was I being delusional? Possibly.

"You haven't told me anything about Darren and you," Parry noted as she sat on her bunk bed. Her knees were pulled up and she was hugging them to her chest, as if the action will warm her up. The AC was somehow tough on us, and I don't know if I should be relieved that it was cool enough in our room despite the regular warm temperature in this country or be bothered because it felt like we're living in the freaking North Pole.

I sighed and turned over, burying my head on the pillow. We weren't able to get out of the orphanage tonight and head home because of the rain. There was news that a part of the road was damaged and was currently flooded because of the rain, hence resulting in us being stranded in the orphanage.

It was both a good thing and a bad thing at once. It was so good for the people who runs this orphanage to let us stay in inside their dormitories and even lend us an AC. Bad enough, because besides having Darren over, I just really want to go home and ask for my mother's famous hot chocolate.

Turning over again, I answered, "I accused him for stalking me," I said, "I mean was it my fault that wherever I go, he just happens to be in the same place? It's annoying! It's like the fucking universe conspired to make the two of us see each other until the ends of the earth. The feeling was not cool at all and I am not having fun! This just makes me want to go back to London earlier like, UGH."

I watched Parry as she listened to my rambling and frowned in confusion when she started laughing. What is she laughing at? Did I say something funny? Am I looking funny? Why is she laughing?!

"Dude calm down," Parry laughed, "What are you talking about? You just met Darren! How could he stalk you? And besides, he's just a kid! Do kids even know how to stalk their crush?"

My cheeks flushed, knowing that I assumed for the wrong Darren. Just why do they have to have the same name? Great, now I am accidentally hating on a kid too who just happens to have a mother who must have thought she should name her baby boy: Darren.
