What am I doing? Honestly, tell me. I don't even ship this, yet I feel compelled to write about it. I was going to do this later on, but because of Note_Block5 , I decided to post this earlier than expected. Oh gosh... Well, here we go! Hopefully it's good to you guys.
( I should be working on Rebellion right now )

Grayson's point of view-The mercenaries just kept coming. When will it stop? It was even worse when the snow kept falling so fast, blinding us while we tried to fight them off. It was just Drake and I. We both had no idea what had happened to Mia. She just...disappeared. We went out to search for her, but we ended up getting ambushed by imperial forces. Red blood covered the white snow on the ground. I stabbed the chest of another mercenary, quickly I pulled it out to stab the other one behind me. I lifted my arm up to shield my eyes from the snow, as I looked around for Drake. I just wanted him to be safe. I don't know what I would do without him. Before I could locate him, another mercenary charged at me.
I felt a growl rise up in my throat. "Get out of here!" I shouted, as I charged with my sword by my side.
The blade penetrated his chest. I pulled it out, once I was sure that he was dead. I looked around, relived that there seemed to be no more enemies around. I put my sword away, but something wasn't right. Where was Drake? I called out his name, hoping that I would be able to spot him in the vast white.
"Drake!" I called out again, this time, I heard coughing.
I turned and followed where the coughing was coming from. Please have him be okay! I can't lose him! I called out his name again, as I passed multiple bodies lying on the ground. This time around, I heard pained mumbling. The snow was beginning to calm down, slowly becoming only light flakes. The trees were starting to come into view, as the familiar coughing grew louder. Finally, I saw a familiar figure sitting on the ground, resting against a tree. I knew the blue clothing it wore, now drenched in red. It was Drake. I stood there in shock, feeling unable to move. No... No!
"Drake! Drake!" I called again, finally being able to run to his aid.
I fell onto my knees next to him, placing my hand over the large wound on his chest. He was bleeding so much, and the cut was too deep. It was so much worse than when he got hit by that poised arrow. I knew that it wouldn't heal on it's own. I knew it could kill him. My eyes filled with tears, that began to roll down my cold cheeks. His head hung down, with a look on his face that made obvious that he was in great pain. Blood soaked his hair and dripped out of his mouth. We were all out of health potions, so I couldn't give him anything to help.
"Gr-Grayson?" He said, slowly lifting up his head, and moving his eyes to look at me.
"Y-yes! I-it's me, yo-you're best friend! Your..." I stopped, my voice cracking.
"G-good. You're o-ok-ay..." He smiled, before he closed his eyes, and he went limp.
I called out his name yet again, but he didn't move. I couldn't help but let my tears flow down. I never even got to tell how I really feel. I never got to tell him that he's more than a friend or even family to me. No. I refuse to let him die now. Not until I tell him. I put one of my arms under his neck, and my other arm under his knees. I stood up, now carrying him in my arms, his blood already soaking into my clothes.
"Come on, b-buddy. My l-love? Just h-hold on, okay?" I asked knowing that he couldn't hear me.
I started to run, holding him firmly against my chest, trying not to drop him in my stride. I needed to find shelter and tend to him before he bled out. I can't let him die while I'm around. I promised to myself a long time ago that I would always be there for him, and protect him. Just like I once promised my wife... I'm not losing another love to the hands of the empire. I won't let them take him from me. A mountain was coming up, but luckily, I could see an opening to a cave inside of it, the entrance covered in vines. It's good enough. I ran in there, not caring at that moment if an creatures lived within it. I got passed the vines, biting my lip as I set him down on his back on top of the cold stone. The wound was very bad. I took off my backpack and frantically searched through it for a needle and surgical thread. I always had some on me, just incase something like this ever happened.
"Come on. Come on! Where is it?!"
My hands grabbed the roll of clear, thick threat, that was already attached to the needle. I pulled them out, setting them on the ground. I grabbed his shirt, and pulled it, ripping it off so I could get to the wound. Even with my face already burning from sorrow and fear, I could feel my cheeks burn hotter in embarrassment as I saw his six pack. I guess he was stronger than I thought. Yet still, he got injured. I shook my head.
"Just focus on saving his life, Grayson." I said to myself, getting back on track.
As I put the needle on the wound, I cringed, knowing that it would him hurt a lot. I knew that this was for his own good. Finally bought myself to do it. The needle pierced into his skin, causing him to cry out in pain. I was starting to cry again. At least he was unconscious. The pain would be more beatable.
As I did the procedure, I kept saying to myself "It okay. It's okay. Everything is going to be fine."
With every pierce, he let out a small scream, or hiss in his unconscious state. I hated hurting him, but I needed to bring myself to do it to save him. Finally, I finished, and sat down with my legs crossed as I grabbed the bandages out. I moved his body onto my legs, to make it easier to patch him up. I let out a sigh of relief, as I wiped the tears out of my eyes. I took in a deep breath, trying to re-gain my composure as I began to wrap the bandages around him. I was more than glad that he was alive, I just hoped he wasn't out there long enough to get an infection. Once I was done, I looked at his face. He seemed much more at peace that earlier. I smiled. I don't don't want to lose him again. He's my only purpose in this messed up life I have. I probably would have given up on everything a long time ago if we hadn't reunited. Slowly, I learned down to his face, closing my eyes, and placing my lips on his. After a few seconds, I pulled myself back, worried that he would catch me in the act. Man, it's going to be difficult to confess. I let out another sigh.
"G-Grayson?" My eyes widened, as I heard his delicate voice.
I looked into his eyes, seeing his concern. My eyes were starting to tear up again. It was so close. I almost lost him. What would I do then? I don't want to go back to a life filled with misery because all I can think of is revenge. He is my reason to live, and without him, I'm nothing. He sat up, getting off of my lap. He looked down at the bandages on him.
"Ow. That's hurts." He hissed.
I sniffed as I more tears fell. He looked at me, the concern in his eyes growing. "Grayson? What's..."
He didn't get to finish. I couldn't hold my joy and my sadness back. I wrapped my arms tightly around him, digging my head into his shoulder as I let my tears flow. He sat there, unmoving from shock. I tried not get too close as too touch his wound and accidentally hurt him.
"Please don't leave me... Please don't ever die while I'm around... I-I can't lose you..." I said.
For a second, he was completely still. I flinched when he finally moved. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me in closer.
"It's okay. I'm fine. I won't ever leave you." He said, his low voice felt soothing.
"Promise?" I couldn't help but say.
I never wanted him to leave. I wanted him to remember that promise, and give him another reason to fight when the odds were against him. I wanted him to remember me in the bad times. He hesitated again to say anything.
"I...I promise."
I dug my head deep into his neck, trying to get rid of the rest of the tears that wouldn't go away. I hugged him tighter, not really noticing if it was hurting him or not.
"I-I..." I tried to whisper, but I came out louder than I had hoped for. "I love you..."
Another silence fell upon us. He rested his head on me, rubbing his cheek against me. My heart raced, not knowing if he would reject me or not. I felt all of my worries and sorrow fade in the next words he said.
"I love you, too."
