Armen's point of view-

It had been a few months since Luke had taken me in at the empire. I lived with him in the palace, right next door to his room simply because he did not trust me with owning my own home since I was an amnesiac and so young. I don't even remember how old I really am but I assume late teen to early adulthood. All I knew was that the ballroom was booming with noise from laughing and chatting soldiers who had returned from war, loud music from the emperor's musicians echoing from the marble walls. It was all fun and joy, but I felt tense, anxious really. I never liked loud environments. Not to mention the overwhelming aroma of putrid booze.
I indulged in the food for the most part, fruits, vegetables, grain however I mainly partook of the sweets, pastries with strawberry jam and small cakes. God, it was like heaven for my taste buds!

  "Armen!"

My ears perked to the call of my name, lifting my head, cheeks crammed with pastry delicacies. It left my mouth dry, nearly choking as I swallowed it down with little consciousness thought, too focused on the voice of the speaker. Crumbs lodged in my throat, then suddenly I was unable to breathe. My hand grabbed my throat as the other pounded against my chest in attempt to clear my airways, my face getting hot and vision going back around its edges.
I was only able to breath again when a forced smack against my back cleared the blockage. I coughed and gasped until I was no longer light headed and breathing properly. I wiped my eyes as the voice previously calling for me was now asking if I was okay. The smell of alcohol somehow managed to strengthen.

  "I'm fine, Luke. I'm fine."

I looked up, turning my head slightly to look at my friend standing beside me. I could not see his distinct features because of the tears welled in my eyes but there was no mistaking that lilac hair. I wiped my eyes clear of the water, blinking until my vision adjusted upon him. His skin was so pale but he was so stylish in his suit. However I noticed that his face was a deeper shade of pink than it usually was, my smile lowering slightly as I took in his grin. It was not his normal grin. This one was more...sly. That's when I noticed the glass of purplish red liquid in his hand.
My eyes met his own, a glossy overlay above their mismatched colors. The aroma of his breath was rather fruity, like fine grapes. I had to lower my head and turn my attention away from him as drunken soldiers cried out their rejoice of victory, slurring words and laughing until they began to hiccup. I rubbed my arm, feeling anxious around the large group. I never liked being around crowds of people.

  "You okay, Amen?"

I looked back to Luke, taking in the slur of his voice which left me unsettled, however this was not the first time I had seen him near drunk. We've been to a few other banquets in my time in the empire, and I never got used to the crowds or the noise. The food and making sure Luke stayed out of trouble were my only reasons for ever wanting to come to these things.

"It's just..." I covered my ears, the whispers returning, getting lost in the sounds outside of my head. "Anxious" I finished.

I looked back up when he grabbed my arm, then began pulling me in the direction he had come from. I had no clue where he was taking me, but it was crowded with people. Why did he think this would help me?!
Luke spun around with that awkward smile on his face that left me unsettled.

"I have something to help you calm down. Wait here for a moment." He turned around and pushed through the crowd to a table with multiple bowls full of liquid. I knew what it was.

"Luke, I really don't-" I tried to speak up when he returned with a glass of red wine but his laughter cut me off.

"Nonsense! Just drink! Helps me relax." I looked to the glass, contemplative. "Give it a try just this once at least."
