Third person point of view-

She wandered around, cold and scared; terrified of the world in fact. And yet fascinated by the world. It's beautiful, extravigate creatures, all so unique, so enticing. Those majestic creature that others called monsters. She more like one of them then human, and really, she was. Perhaps it was not the world that scared her, but rather humanity itself, the most cruel creatures in the world. Hypocrisy, hate against themselves just for gender or sexuality or race. That was truly terrifying. She did not belong with them anyway, and they had shown that too her long ago.
Pure black, near rapilian skin with and iris of deep, gorgeous purple with hints of green to it hue surrounded by a magenta iris. Her ears came to a point and she stood past seven feet tall. She pulled her dark grey cloak closer to her body, covering her grey t-shirt, jeans, and brown boots that were badly worn and stained in hardened mud.
She took in a deep breath, calming herself as she shivered beneath her the grey of her hood. The rain. It was getting heavier. A hiss slipped past her clenched teeth as a drop of the skies pure liquid touched her cheek, burning it purple as it seethed upon her skin like acid.

I need to get out of this rain, but there's nothing but desert!

She looked up with her inverted vision, looking around for cover but all there was was vast desert. What else was to be expected in the badlands? Definitely not a sudden cloudburst. After giving out a small whimper, her purple eyes finally spotted hope; the tall mountains. It would not take too long to get to them/ perhaps she could find a cave or an overhang, anything that can provide shelter until the rain passes.
Her long carried over to her destination, taking a few minutes and a few more burns against her face and legs from contact with the rain and splashing water that she walked upon, splashing higher than normal with her increased weight from her height. Finally she reached it, the tallest mountain of them all that stretched off of the mainland almost like an island of sorts.
As she walked up towards it, she noticed the strange architecture, an arc that acted as an entrance for the slim pathway to lead up to  the mountaintop. Her eyes scanned it with such curiosity.

Orcish. It's been awhile since I've seen something like this.

She walked beneath it, going over to the base of the steps, but as her eyes looked up, she grew anxious. The steps were so worse and destroyed, and even worse with how close it was to the ocean. One slip and she would fall into the crle waters below, sure to be the equivalent of falling into lava for her. No. She would not risk it.
Her head turned, eyes resting on the top of the mountain. As if the wind obayed her command, it swirled around her body, carrying the glowing purple particles around her tall body. The world swayed violently before her entire body vanished, reappearing at the top of the mountain. Teleportation. Always useful.
Once she was on top, her eyes scanned the area, taking in the beauty. It was marvelous, the structures of ancient orcish buildings, a statue of the magic goddess herself. It was all so breathtaking.
As much as she wanted to continue basking over the flawless architecture, she knew that she needed to get out of this rain as quickly as possible. The girl pulled her cloak closer, trying to keep all of her skin underneath it, but it was difficult. Burns were continuing to grow across her body as the water hit her, purple eyes welling with acidic tears.
Her eyes looked up to a building, walking up the steps when she decided to take shelter there until the rain cleared. As she walked underneath the doorway, she found that it was filled with magic that left her in wonder. Whoever lived here dabbled in the arts, just as she did. Before she could get very far into the room, there was a click like an opening and closing door, then a tall man turned the corner from around the second doorway. Her heart raced, a panic flooding her system.
Drake jumped as he looked up at her, an arm shooting out as if he were about to use a magic blast against her. She stepped back, a fear flooding into her violet and magenta orbs. Drake's harsh gaze was quick to soften, growing more curious and full of awe. His eyes scanned her, taking in her black skin and eyes reflecting his right eyes. She was even taller than him, her head so close to scraping against the ceiling, with her purple hair cascading over her shoulders.
His eyes moved down, taking in the purple glow that burst around her hand. A Mage.
