Suggested by PuppySwift. Riley is her OC, so give her credit.
Forgive me if she seems out of character, because I tend to do that with OC's. The next ship will probably be Luke x Mia.

The child backed up until her back pressed against the tree, her eyes wide and full of fear. She gasped and whimpered, putting her arm on the bleeding gash on her stomach. It was just supposed to be a nice walk in the forest. A way to spend time together alone after they left the inn. It wasn't supposed to end up like this.
The Mage spun around, holding a diamond sword already covered in the girls blood. His left eye glowed a bright white as he smiled at the other hybrid. He took a step forward, aware that she had no weapons, and was vulnerable to his attacks. His footsteps crunched the white snow beneath his feet, with splatters of red leading up to the injured girl.

"What's wrong, Riley? Not happy to see your little boyfriend like this?"

Riley growled, her cheeks growing warm and red. Even the demon knew. Fog rose in the air with each gasp and staggered breath she took. It was painful with her wounds, but the emotional pain she felt from seeing Drake possessed was even worse. Her tears rolled down her cheeks, leaving a salty taste in her mouth as they rolled down her quivering lips.

"D-Dr-Drake..." She stuttered. "Pl-please...come back to me!"

The demon possessed hybrid only laughed. "Wouldn't that be sweet? Love conquering all? Oh, please. You're precious love can't conquer me!"

Her eyes widened again, letting out a loud gasp. Love. If it really could conquer all, then could it bring Drake back to his senses? If she tried anything, then it could result in her death. Riley looked up, screaming as he swung his blade. She jumped out of the way, the tip of the blade slicing her left arm.
She hissed in pain, her arm moving up to cover the fresher wound. The scratch wasn't too deep, but already it let out a lot of dark red blood. Riley pushed herself back to her feet, swaying as she became dizzy. She turned to face him again, only for another wave of pain to wash over her.
She fell over once more onto the ground. Her trembling hand rose up, covering the large bleeding scar on the side of her face. On the ground now laid her bloodstained eyepatch, nearly blending in with the snow. Her eyes looked up, listening as the demon forced a laugh through his vessel's throat.

"It's going to be so much fun once Drake goes back to his senses, only to see you dead."

The demon possessed hybrid tilted his head, a wide smile on his face. Riley watched as he stepped closer; her own blood dripping down the shining blade of diamond. Drake's glowing white eye and his Enderman eye looked down at the injured girl. The pupil in his Ender eye constricted, making him look even more insane and like that of a killer.

"So you're another hybrid? No wonder you took a liking to him so quickly!"

Riley ignored him, clawing at the tree behind her to pull herself back onto her feet. She was freezing and hurting all over. Her vision was blurring, but she tried not to let it bother her. Her gaze fixated on Drake's possessed form once more, her blurry vision getting worse with the presence of tears in her eyes.

"Dr-Drake...come back...to m-me..." She tried pleading once more, hoping to get through to her love.

Bravery filled the child's heart, her fear and shyness fading all in that one moment. She had to help, in any way possible. Even if it meant risking her own life. Drake was the world to her, and she wasn't going to let some stupid demon take him away from her.
She lunged at him, grabbing his wrist of the arm that held the sword. She could feel his arm struggling to break free from her as she pushed it back. He was getting weaker.
With all of her remaining strength, she held him back. Her other arm wrapped around his waist, as she looked up into his bright eyes. She chocked, even more tears dripping down her face.
