Unfortunately, this is the shortest ship I have written so far, but don't worry! I'm going to have two versions of Armen x Drake, just not one after the other. You'll all have to wait. >XD These ships will be more brotherly than romantic, since they're both technically brothers.
_______________________________________________________"Do I know you?" Armen said, his cyan eyes not as bright as the were four years ago.
Drake's eyes widened, his hand that he had held out was trembling even more now. No. This couldn't be happening. His already tear filled eyes were beginning to let even more tears fall.
"Armen, stop messing around! This isn't exactly a good moment for that!" His voice was beginning to crack.
Armen shook his head, stepping back from the hybrid. Drake could see the panic and uneasiness in his eyes. He tried to step forward, but Armen kept pacing back, until he tripped on his own feet and fell back onto the dirt.
Drake could feel his mouth getting dry as his aching heart raced. "Armen, please..."
The boy shook his head again. "I-I don't know you! I d-don't....I don't. You must be mistaken me."
Drake felt his sorrow getting replaced with anger. "How could I mistake you for anyone else?! I've spent four f*****k years trying to save you from h**l while you were possessed!"
"Possessed? What are you talking about? Get away from me!"
"I literally went to H**l and back to save you!" Drake shouted in anger.
Drake didn't know rather to be sad or infuriated. Why was he doing this? He felt his anger slip from him, his gaze on his old best friend becoming softer.
"You... You seriously don't remember me?"
Armen shook his head "I-" He growled and looked down, digging his fingers into his scalp. "I don't know anything! I only remember my brother, a-and... He was starting to go crazy..an-and.."
Drake felt himself wanting to cry again when tears and whimpers escaped from Armen. Ever so slowly, he got closer, before gently placing his hand on Armen's shoulder. The teenager looked up, sniffing with tears still going down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry for yelling. I shouldn't have done that, it was irresponsible." He looked down, a wave of guilt and grief washing over him. "I missed you."
Suddenly, Drake wrapped his arms around Armen, sobbing into his shoulder. Armen flinched, not expecting the move. He knew that this strange man must have been through a lot to make him break down like this. Slowly, he put his arms around the hybrid and began to pet his back to comfort him and calm him down.
He chuckled. "You know, you remind me a lot of my brother."
Drake's eyes widened. He was his brother. He always has been, and he always will be. He closed his eyes and pushed his head deeper into Armen's neck. His arms kept getting tighter around his old friend, not wanting to let him go and lose him yet again.
"Ow. You're, uh, kinda hurting me." Armen said, trying to pull away.
Drake momentarily panicked and released Armen. He stood up and took a few steps back, looking at him and examining him again. He loved seeing both of his eyes that calming cyan hue again, instead of deathly and white like that demon's bright orbs. His clothes weren't burnt anymore and his skin wasn't as burnt and raw. He still a had a few patches of red with raw, dead skin that would be easy to tear off.
"S-so.... What's your name? Where exactly am I? I don't remember how I got here." He scratched the back of his head and closed his eyes as he chuckled.
Drake forced a smile on his face. He was glad to finally have his friend, his family, back with him, but without Armen's memories, he wouldn't remember what truly made them bound together. Another part of Drake told himself that it was for the better. He wouldn't remember the troubling, nightmare inducing things they've been through. He wouldn't remember what Herobrine put him through.
"My name's Drake." He held out his hand.
Armen smiled, tilting his head as took Drake's hand, moving it up and down. "It's a pleasure, Drake."
Drake continued. "You're in the badlands. I could take you back to my house, if you'd like. It gets really dangerous out here when the sun goes down."
The black haired teenager nodded. "I'd like that. Thank you. I've...never really been to fond of the dark." His cheeks turned red as he scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.
His smile faded, as he looked down at the ground. He kicked at the dirt and rocks, remembering how Drake seemed to be someone close from his hazy past. Still, nothing made sense to him. One second he left his house when his parents were talking about Collin's strange isolation and bad attitude, then the next thing he knew, he was out here with a strange hybrid claiming to know him.
"Come on, let's go! We have a lot to talk about!" Drake said, going around him and pulling him by his hand.
Armen enjoyed the feeling of his soft palm in his own gloved hand. He looked down at their intertwined hands, tracing his finger on Drake's skin. It was as if it had been years since he felt a gentle touch; the calming feeling of another human's contact. What happened after he left that house?
"Armen?" Drake's deep voice snapped him out oh his thoughts.
He smiled at Drake. "Hmmm? What's up?"
Drake's smile faded, as he suddenly stopped. Armen stopped as well, as the hybrid towered over him. Drake lifted up his hand, and traced his fingers on his friends cheeks and below his eyes to wipe away his old tears. Armen did the same, putting his hands on the sides of the hybrid's head, and using his thumbs to wipe the tears away. A small gasp left his lips, when Drake leaned down on placed his forehead against his. His eyes were closed as he gently stroked Armen's check with his thumb.
"I missed you so much." His voice cracked.
Armen's eyes became wide. This man... Was important to him once upon a time. They were obviously close. What happened to him? Drake mentioned possession and literal H**l... He was desperate to remember. He closed his eyes, letting one last tear slip out from under his eyelid. He just wished he could remember...
