It would probably be better to read the Grayson x Armen ship I have before you read this (if you haven't yet), or at least the beginning and end to get a clearer image of what's going on in this little story.
Enjoy!
_________________________________________________Drake's point of view-
The blast collided with the portal, just as I had expected. I jumped back, shielding my face as the bright light expanded, exploding against the portal and setting off a loud booming sound that made my ears ring. My arm lowered, a few new burns on my skin caused by the heat of the blast, then looked back up at the doorway between my world and this fascinating yet nightmarish realm. I gasped with my eyes wide, seeing that the glowing purple was gone, the blast deactivating it and destroying my way of escape.
As long as Grayson and Armen made it back okay...
An agonizing fear began to rise up within me, my heart racing and my body unable to sweat anymore than it already was. The burning liquid rolled down my face, dripping from my nose and lips and instantly evaporating just inches before it collided with the netherrack below. I slowly turned around to face the dark familiar presence that had stripped me away from my opportunity to exit this realm of agony."You... I thought we got rid of you." I growled underneath my breath. Well we are in H**l. I guess I shouldn't have been as surprised to encounter him as I was.
It's been a long time since we have seen each other, Drake. Thank you for giving me the perfect opportunity.
My back straightened and my grip on my sword tightened. I glared at the black mass of black smoke before me, it's familiar glowing white eyes piercing my soul. What was he talking about? What opportunity? We have already won against him...haven't we?
"Opportunity? What are you talking about? We've already won, so what could you possibly pursue?!"
The only reply I heard was a loud chaotic laugh echo on the enclosed wall of the nether terrain. That dark disembodied laughter only made a chill run up my spine and made my blood run cold. It was just so chilled, even when we were surrounded by lava and flames. I took a step back as his formless being began to get closer to me.
I only want to go back into the over world, that is all. You know, it is not all that fun down here...
I gasped and let out a cry as intense pain suddenly shot up in my head. I grabbed my head as my eyes teared up and my knees gave out underneath me. My teeth gritted against each other causing my teeth to ache as well. Why me?! Well, it's a lot better for it to be me than Grayson or Armen.
My eyes shot open and before I could let out another gasp, an orb of white spiritual energy rammed into my body and set me flying back. I grunted in pain as my back slammed into the obsidian of the portal, then hissed and whimpered as I tried to move. It was like I was paralyzed for a split moment. My eyes cracked open, sitting in place until my vision settled and my body could properly move. The heat coursing around my body was not making the situation any easier to deal with. I moved my fingers to feel the handle of my sword, but they clawed at nothing but the red stone beneath me.You would think that this place would be filled with the wonderful sounds of screams and torment but it is nothing but a pit of ash and pest. It truly is boring, honestly.
Another gasp escaped my lips as black tendrils wrapped around my wrists and ankles, popping my joints as they suspended me up in the ash filled air. I kicked and squirmed as I tried to get his black magic to release me, even though I knew that the attempt was in vain. Come on Drake! You have beaten Herobrine many times before, you can do it again! But in those times I had Armen and Grayson. Now I have no one.
Herobrine's bodiless from came closer to me, light shining below his glowing eyes as if he was smiling with a wicked smug look. The black embodiment morphed to take the shape of a human, but it remained plain with the same dark hue.I just want to be free from this place... and you are my key to escape. Brace it Drake! It has always been your destiny to be my vessel; my puppet!
I continued to shake about, not wanting to listen to his demonic voice. ""What?! I am not your puppet! Forgot about possessing my body! I will never let you use me as a vessel!"
I felt as I was lifted higher into the burning air, the suffocating smoke entering my lungs and causing me to cough. Suddenly I was tossed forcefully to the side, my body crashing down and rolling on the burning red stone beneath myself. I picked myself up slowly, my arms trembling with bruises and scrapes. I wiped away saliva that rolled onto my chin as I looked up, glaring at the demon with hatred in my being.
He took Armen from me once. I refuse to let that demon take me from him. I need Armen and he needs me. He needs me...right?
I stood up on my wobbly legs and slowly put my arms out. Fire formed around them, balls of flames shooting out and blasting towards my sworn enemy. The blasts only went through him, not fazing him in the slightest. Once again his deep laughter echoed out, causing me to flinch in discomfort and feeling unsettled.I does not matter if you let me take control or not. I am all powerful! I am a god! I can do whatever I want!
I chuckled. "Well clearly you're not as powerful as you think, over wise you'd be able to escape without a vessel. You're just a coward!"
I screamed as the agonizing headache returned, pain shooting up within me worse than any pain I had ever felt before. My vision blurred and tears slipped from my eyes as I pulled at my hair in pain. I couldn't hear anything with the ringing returning to my ears, but I knew that he was growling in anger over what I had said. The pain made it feel like it was a miracle that I was even still conscious.
That is the last time you will ever see your friend and brother again! So long Drake!... You belong to me...
My vision cleared, allowing me to see Herobrine rise up into the air. I screamed as the darkness came at me and engulfed my vision. I felt as he started to strip away my control over my own body. I was being pushed to the back of my own mind. I let out one last scream as I tried to hold him back and stay in control of myself. I couldn't do it. He was too strong.
The next thing I felt was the feeling of weightlessness. I felt like I was floating in darkness, the pain in my head spreading to my entire body. I couldn't scream or move; the pain being the only thing that let me know that I was still alive. Even with the pain and knowledge that I had lost complete control over my body, the only thoughts that ran through my mind were considerations of Armen's and Grayson's wellbeing.
With my body and my own magic combined with His power, Herobrine will surely be able to reignite the portal and escape into the mortal realm. He'll be more powerful than ever...
Please have Armen and Grayson stay safe... I will keep fighting until I know that they will not be hurt by my own hands. Even if it means that I have to die like Armen once had. I only want them to be safe and happy... And that will always be my final wish.
