Jessica's P.O.V.
A loud honk from a car startled everyone inside the mansion, Ace kissed me goodbye and walked me to the door.
"Ready to go?" Aiden asked, opening the door for me, he carried my bag and placedit inside the car.
"Aiden, be sure to take care of my daughter. I don't want to have another rumor flooding the internet" Dad said patting Aiden's shoulder. Somehow it reminds me about Kris, everything dad told Aiden made me remember everything about Kris.
"Jess? Jess?" Aiden waved his hand infront of me, I blinked my eyes multiple times.
"Sorry, I just remembered something" I said fastening my seat belt and facing the window.
"It's Kris isn't it?" I met his gaze as he slowly starts to drive. I decided not to answer his question to end our conversation, there are things that I don't understand. The exact reason why I don't want to say anything if Kris is involved, I don't understand what's happening to me even my own feelings.
That day Aiden and I kept on buying all the things needed for our wedding, and yet I still wasn't on my right mind. Everytime Aiden would ask me something, he needs to wave his hand or shake me lightly just to bring me back to my consiousness. it was already past 1 in the afternoon when we reached our last stop, the wedding ring shop.
Aiden tried to pick the perfect couple ring while I just sat down on the couch still thinking about this feeling I really don't understand. The sales lady took the size of my ring finger and my thumb, quite confused I asked Aiden.
"Aiden, why did she record the size of my thumb? isn't she supposted to record your ring finger?"
"Well, in the first century other people thought that if the groom's wedding ring perfectly fits on the thumb of the bride then they're meant to be.And in the case of the grrom, thh bride's ring should fit in the pinky finger of the groom" He explained
"And you seriously believe that?" I rolled my eyes and sat back down
"Hey, it won't harm me anyways. I hope this can help you to ease your mind" he said handling me my phone, he was already calling someone when he gave it to me.
"How did you get my phone?" I asked
"Since you're too busy to notice me, you also forgot to notice your own phone. Just wait here, I'll be back" he said. Was I that ignorant earlier? Gosh what's happening to me? I looked at my phone and noticed that Aiden was actually calling Aleyna unnie, I hope she can help me in my problem today.
"Unnie!!! Blaze is so romantic, he proposed to Aleyna unnie again" Sunny suddenly shouted. I guess they're having so much fun and I don't want to replace that happiness into grief.
"Oh... Really? That's good" I said in a mono lifeless tone. I really don't know what's happening to myself, it feels like I'm having a mental breakdown.
"Are you... okay? Jess" Aleyna Unnie asked. I took a glance at Aiden and saw him still busy talking to the sales lady.
"Just, having a problem." I replied, changing my voice.
"Jess we need to leave now" Aiden said walking infront of me, I nodded my head and asked him to go outside first.
"Oh sorry we need to go now, see you soon" I quickly hungged up and went outside the shop, then suddenly my phone started ringging once again. Being paranoid, I thought it was the one I longed for
"Hello? Kris?"
