Jessica's P.O.V

"Jess" Aiden called me I walked towards him and hugged him tight letting all the tears fall. I broke down infront of him and my knees becomes very weak, we crouch down under the dark and lonely night as I chose to break myself into pieces once again.

I furrowed my eyebrows while rubbing my temples, I've been currently working and checking on the sales and stocks of the company. I flipped the pages back, harsly closed the folder and throwed it on the desk. Handling a big company surely gives you some pressure and stress. I opened my eyes when I heard a knock on the glass door, there an ice prince stood showing his gummy smile.

"Stressed and annoyed? I feel you" he sat down sitting comfortably on the chair infront of me.

"What are you doing here?" I raised my brows

"What time are you going to get out?"

"You didn't answer my question"

"You didn't answer my question either"

"You should answer mine first"

"Let's have dinner 10 pm sharp, if you're late even if its only a second I'll give you a punishment" he straightforwardly said the casually walked out of the room like nothing happened

"What the- he asked to have dinner yet he's going to punish me? Gosh he's so weird" I said opening the folders again but this time with a smile tugging on my lips.

I waited for the time to strike 12 then I quickly went inside my house. Ace is still not home because of his school but Krystal told me that she'll just fetch Ace since she doesn't have anything to di for today. But what surprised me is that I saw her still comfortably lying on my bed.

"Oh? Unnie, you're here already? I was about to go to Ace's school" she said while stretching and sitting up from the bed.

"Uhm, can you help me pick a dress or anything to wear? And please prepare dinner for Ace" I said opening my wardrobe

"Dinner? You aren't gonna eat with us?" She asked suddenly appearing beside me

"Oh I get it a date!, just sit down and I'll do the trick" she gasped and quickly messed my wardrobe back.

"Here, try this" she said giving me a white and black printed dress.

"So i'm off now, need to fetch Ace. Have fun with your date! But go early so that he won't think that you're a slow poke" She peeked at the door and closed it shut.

After a while, I decided to go to a mall and have some window shopping. I was actually planning to buy some stuffs but I was lazy to carry those on our dinner and it'll look unpresentable. Well, its almost 10 so I quickly went to the restaurant Kris texted me earlier.

There I saw him on a suit tapping his fingers, patiently waiting for me. I silently walked towards him and sat at the opposite side.

"So what's my punishment?" I smiled

"Don't worry you're 5 minutes early. So let's eat I'm really starving" he said then the two waiters suddenly walked infront of us and place 2 american dishes.

"I thought you'd missed some american foods so I ordered that" he uttered then poured some wine on our glass. As we eat silently we started to become comfortable and home.

"Jess, there's something I actually wanted to tell you" he trailed off shuttering, his long and slender fingers suddenly tangled with mine. I stared right at his brown orbs and saw caring and softness inside

"Kris-"

"I know what I've done to you is unforgivable but Jessica you need to trust me this time. I want to prove that I've already change even for a bit. Just please give me another chance?"

"K-kris... you need to... Ace is waiting for me now, I-i'll go now" I said standing up and quickly walking away

"Jess" I halted and noticed that my eyes are getting more blurred and a pear shaped hot liquid flowed down towards my cheeck.

"I'm sorry" I said fastening my pace and directly entered my car. I cried a few more before staring the engine and drove home. My eyes are already bloodshot red and stings from all the tears it produced earlier, I locked my car and held onto it for support. My legs became weak and thousands of emotions flooded myself.
