Jessica's P.O.V.
After my parents and Mr. David left. Ace then regained his usuall hyperness, he kept running here and there but he'll stop and ask me for food or water. Later on I decided to make an orange juice so I went in the kitchen and started to prepare.
"Orange juice? I'll help you" Kris said and got 3 glasses from the drainer
"Mami, Guo Lai (Come here) " Ace shouted from the living room. I felt like I was pancking so I took a glance at Kris, he only stared blankly at the glass that we were about to serve
"How did Ace? Can... H-How did he learn to speak Chinese?" He asked quite surprised I guess
"Well, I... I taught him some words because... uhm, Dad likes to speak Chinese so, yeah" I said then walked towards the living room again
"Mommy!, Daddy!!! What's this?" Ace asked holding a heart pendant bracelet
"J & K? What? Mommy I don't understand this" he said as he gave me the bracelet and starts to walk upstairs, probably looking for his toy
"You still have that?" Kris asked while sitting beside me. I stared at him and avoided eye contact.
~It's just hard to throw this away~ I thought as I kept it in my pocket
"I'll just look for Ace" I said as I walked upstairs trying to leave him there
~Late Afternoon~
Ace was really having a high energy and still wants to play until some time, Kris was the one who's getting tired so I suggested to just have a rest on Ace's room. On the way there, this kid really is a pain in the ass, he can't control his energy so he's always active.
"Ace, can you please come here for a minute?" I asked him while half lying on his bed. Kris was actually lying down beside me, so I scooted a little bit further from him and gave space for Ace. I grab a photo album from Ace's drawer, where all his baby pictures were kept
"Ace, is this really you?" Kris quickly revived his energy and looked at the photos
"Wah!, Mommy is this really me?" He pouted
"Yes dear that's you, look you still have your big round eyes" I said while pointing at a particular photo where he was staring curiously at the camera. After a while we heard the doorbell ringging so Kris decided to go down first and open the door for the visitors. After we finished fixing his bed, Ace and I both decided to go down.
"Kris, who's-" I asked Kris while coming down from the stairs
"Auntie!!!!!" Ace quickly unclasped his hand from mine and ran towards them
"Hi Ace, Jess wether you like it or not you'll come with me" Taeyeon noona said while grabbing my arm and pulled me upstairs
"Can you please explain what that tower is doing here?" She crossed her arms and leaned on the table
"Well, earlier we've had some breakfast-"
"What?! Breakfast?" she butted in
"Yeah, but it was only for some business matters. His dad and my family were together with us also-"
"What?! Together with you family and his dad? Jess are you sure that that's only for business purposes? Because there's somethining really fishy about it" she said
"Fishy? Like what? Unnie you're getting a little bit paranoid are you?" I chuckled
"No I'm not, I'm just making it sure that he's not playing with you. By the way does he already know?" She asked while sitting on my bed
"Know what?" I asked while she just eyed me then after a few seconds I start to understand it
"No, I don't want to tell him" I replied while avoiding eye contact
~It's not yet the right time~ I thought
"Jess, the both of them deserves to know the truth, especially him. You've been keeping 2 secrets from him now, don't you atleast feel a little bit guilty?" She said
"Mommy!!!!" We heard Ace calling us behind the door wanting to play with us already
"Why did Kris stay here again?" she asked
"Ace wanted to play with him the whole day, so Ace forced him to stay" I replied
"Mommy, why are you so slow? We've been playing 3 games already" Ace said embrassing me
"Daddy!!!, superman!!!" Ace said while opening his arms wide reaching for Kris.
"Daddy?" They looked at me questioningly
"Ace likes to call Kris 'Daddy' at first I don't want that but Kris said that its okay" I explained, these girls are really curious even about some little things like this. Or is it not?
