Jessica's P.O.V.
Kris pulled me outside the shop and hopped inside his car, Luhan stayed inside the cafe shop. I quickly called Aiden when Kris starts the engine, I don't know what to do. All I know is that I need someone right now.
"Aiden! Where are you? I need you right now" After multiple rings on the phone Aiden finally answered the my call
"W-Why? Jess, are you alright?" Aiden seems to have taken a back at my tone. It was very desperate and all, this was the second time Aiden knows that I am broken once again.
"N-No, Ace and Krystal had an accident. Please A-Aiden, I need someone right now." Kris suddenly held my hand, squeezing my hand a few minutes. His face showed worriedness and concern.
"I'm on my way, send me the hospital adress" Aiden said from the other line, I hunged up and quickly sent him the hospital adress. Minutes later, we finally reached the hospital with a trembling body and broken heart.
"Nurse, where's the girl with a child who just had an accident earlier?" I asked the nurse who was walking on the hallway.
"The both of them were already on the ER but we have a problem miss, all the blood we have stocked here were already used. We tried calling the blood bank to get more supply but due to the heavy rain they said that they can only deliver it tomorrow. But the both of them were really losing too much blood."
"What blood type are they?" I asked while getting more panicked.
"Type A and type O"
"I'm type O" Kris said, holding my hand trying to make my worries fade
"Well then please follow me, I'll inform the doctor"
"But nurse, how about my sister?" Ace already has a donor, he's blood type is O but Krystal hasn't found one. I can't donate mine, because our blood type isn't compatible.
"We'll try everything to make her live, don't worry ma'am" With that she quickly went inside the ER together with Kris. I sat down on the bench lined up outside the emergency room and poured my heart out, I don't want to lose my sister, especially my son, I don't want to be alone again
"Jessica" I turned around and saw Aiden trying to catch his breath
"Aiden-" I was about to talk to him when a nurse suddenly walked outside the operating room and quickly talked to me
"Ms. Jung, I'm sorry to announce that your sister is already in a very fatal condition considereing her anemia, if we can't find a blood donor and operate her immediately then I'm afraid she might die tonight" Aiden squeezed my hand tight and frequently rubbed some small circles on the shoulder
"What's the girl's blood type? Type A?" Aiden asked, I turned around and had an eye contact with him
"Yes sir"
"I'll donate mine" he's going to sacrifice his self again, yet I haven't done anything for him.
"Are you sure Aiden?" I asked feeling uneasy, he caressed my check before nodding and left me outside the operating room again. I covered my face with my hands and sat on the bench once again, mom called me earlier and the both of us already had a talk. Minutes later someone rested their hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw Aiden
"You're back? Why are you so fast? How's everything?"
"The both of them were rushed to the operating room awhile ago. I don't know what and where did Kris exactly go after they got his blood but Krystal, because of her anemia, she lost a huge amount of blood that's why she is still having a seisure but Ace is already fine." With that I quickly broke down, Aiden wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in a tight hug.
"Jess its not that I'm interfeing between Kris and you. But Jess I think this is the right time to tell him, before its too late."
"What do you need to tell me?" I turned around and saw Kris walking out from the emergency room
"Aiden" "It's okay Jess, I'm just going to go somewhere" Aiden said while leaving a soft peck on my forhead
"Are you okay? aren't you feeling a bit tired and weak after donating?" I asked, patting the space on the bench, motioning him to have a seat. He shooked his head and just stared at me.
"Jess, what do you need to tell me?" He asked after a few minutes of silence between us.
"Ace... Aiden and I are getting married. Not because of love, this marriage is an arranged marriage for the benefits of our companies. Aiden was always there when Ace was still in my womb. Ace is really close to him, and he sees him as a fatherly figure." I trailed
"Just get to the point Jess" His tone warned me and gave me chills, his deep voice right now is somewhat scaring me.
"I'm sorry... But the thing is... Ace isn't... Aiden isn't the father of Ace" I looked at him only to find him also staring at me surprisedly
"He was yours" I finally said the words I fear to say.
