Kris' P.O.V.

"Do you remember when you almost fell from a horse because he was all worried because his mate is already giving birth?" I asked Jess, she was sitting on my right and Ace is on my left. Right now we're all heading to Chowon Seungmajang Ranch, Jess told me there's something special today although I don't remember why.

"Yeah. I was surprised when you even pulled me inside the horse stable just to watch how that horse could give birth" I said

"How about you Ace have you ever saw a horse or a ponny in the States?" I asked, while he eagerly nodded his head

"In the movies and television"

"But today, you're going to see a real one" I chuckled and ruffled his hair, I don't know why but I think because of Jess I already get used in ruffling Ace's hair.

"Ms. Jung and Mr. Wu, were already here" our driver told us, Krystal already got outside and walking towards Auntie.

"Goodmorning Mr. Jung and family and Mr. Wu and family, right now I'm going to tour you around and let you ride on some horses" the owner welcomed us, he toured us inside and met manny ponies and horses. Ace was very delighted and almost doesn't want to come with us anymore.

"Unnie I want to go with Ace, I think you and Kris oppa should just ride one horse" Krystal said while already riding on the horse.

"Ms. Krystal, this is Max, he is very calm and quiet all the time" the horse keeper said. He managed to walk Max first then minutes after he told Krystal to slowly start conrolling Max. Max has a mixed color of light brown and dark brown

"Ms. Jung and Mr. Wu, this is Chief and he's an alpha type. He's the fastest one among here and also the most powerful one. I guess both of you should try to be careful" Chief is actually a pure white horse and he's a bit bigger than Max. i held onto Jessica's waist and put her on top of Chief's back in a princess position, then I sat on Chief's back as well. The horse keeper wanted to monitor us because there were times that Chief will suddenly get mad especially when his mate is about to give birth also this week.

When everything was already settled, I started to control Chief and went closer to Ace and Krystal, Ace was smiling brightly and kept on patting Max's head.

Everything was fine when Chief suddenly starts running fastly and I couldn't get a grip on him anymore. Jess held my arm and I quickly hugged her and let ourselves fall on the ground with Jess on top of me. Good thing the land where we both fell on doesn't have any rocks or else my head is now bleeding from the fall. I entangled myself from Jess and saw her breathing hardly, I kissed her forhead then Krystal and Ace came towards us together with our parents and the ranch owner, checking if we were fine.

Jess stood up and walked where Chief ran a while ago, there inside the stabe were a horse lying down with a newly born baby on her side, Chief was standing beside her and eyed the ponny. We went back to the field and sat in the bench still watching Krystal and Ace ridding Max.

"Jess are you sure you're fine?" Mom asked Jess, she shooked her head and rest it on my shoulder

"How about you Kris? Does something hurt? Do you want to have some Ice pack or what?" Auntie asked me.

"I'm fine Auntie, no need to worry" I assured her and held her hand.

"Kris" Uncle called me

"Thank you for keeping your promise" he smiled

"What promise Dad?" I asked, as I said he's already a fatherly figure to me so sometimes I tend to call him 'dad' also.

"I told you many times to take care of my daughter right? And you protected her earlier, thank you for that" I smiled while Jess kept on snuggling closer to me.

"Why does everytime when we want to visit these horses there's always a mate who's giving birth?" Jess heaved a sigh and pouted

"By the way, I wanted to give you this on this special day" Jess said while getting something from her bag, she pulled out a wolf stuffed toy, the same carbon copy I have on my house and a black Blanc and Eclare sunglass case

"Thanks but I really don't recall why it's a very special day today" I said while rubbing the back of my nape.

"Are you an old man? Do you have any memory gap? You even forgot your own birthday?!" Krystal exclaimed, they were already done riding Max. I looked at him questioningly and pulled out my phone, I slapped my forhead and looked at them. Fuck, I really forgot my birthday.

"By the way Ace, this is also for you. Happy 5th birthday!" I looked at Jess wide-eyed

"Both of you had the same birthday" she whispered.

"Daddy happy birthday!" Ace went towards me and hugged me

"Happy birthday to you also" I smiled

"Ms. Jung this is the cakes you asked us to keep" the owner said while carrying two cakes and placed it on top of the table. He lighted the candles and left us, they sang the 'happy birthday song' and asked us to blew the candle.

"Ace what did you wish?" Auntie asked

"Uhmmm.... I want Mommy and Daddy to be happy!" He squealed.

"How about you Kris?" Jess asked

"Success for our companies and happiness for our family" she smiled and put Ace inbetween us, she rested her head on my shoulder again.

"Kris" Krystal called me, I turned to her and saw her holding a camera. I smiled, wanting to have a copy of this special moment.
