You sat by the fire, your small book in hand. You loved drawing photos of the fellowship, and your sketchbook was full of small doodles of them, and intricate portraits. But one member had many more photos drawn in the small book. Legolas. Yes, you had tons of drawings of the blonde elven prince. Possibly your favorite thing to draw were his eyes. They just seemed to hold so much. You knew that he had the wisdom of thousands of years, and you loved to try to capture that on paper. That was what you were trying to do now. Unfortunately, you were unaware of the fact that two mischief making hobbits were behind you, watching what you did. Merry, with a wink to his partner in crime, made a loud noise, distracting you while Pippin sneakily reached out, snatching the book.
"Hey!" You yelped, grabbing at the hobbit, who danced out of your reach.
He flipped through the pages, looking at all the drawings.
"Look Merry!" Pippin beckoned, "there are pictures of Legolas!"
"You give that back!" You shrieked, grabbing at the book, but once again the nimble hobbit danced away.
Just then Aragorn returned, hauling more wood for the fires.
"Aragorn!" They yelled, running to the ranger.
Setting down his load, Aragorn turned towards them, "what do you want?"
"Look at this!" Merry said, thrusting the book in Aragorn's face.
"Don't you dare!" You screamed. Launching yourself at the ranger.
But alas, not even the sensible Aragorn was going to help. He took the book and flipped through it, looking at the sketches of his elven friend. He got a wide smile and yelled over his shoulder, "Legolas! Tul síno!"
Oh no....
To your massive chagrin, the blonde haired elf did come walking into camp.
"Look what these little hobbits found," Aragorn said, tossing the book to Legolas.
Legolas looked through the book, his eyes growing wide, "Man tuë sina?"
Pippin and Merry both pointed to you, who were covering your face with your hands.
Legolas strode up to where you stood and gently pulled your hands down.
"They are beautiful," he said, putting his fingers under your chin and tilting your head up.
"Really?" You asked.
"Yes, faila ve le. (Just like you)"
You gasped, along with everyone else. Then you smiled.
"Legolas Thranduilion, are you flirting with me?"
"La titta,(a little)" he said with a mischievous grin.
"Cause it's working," you muttered as you planted a kiss on his cheek.
