A/N: Okay, so I've spent A LOT of time perfecting this chapter (actual weeks). And I truly hope you love it, because it's my new favorite :) Maybe it'll become yours, too! I've uploaded the dress I used as inspiration for Kelsey's. Also, NC17 last half! Please don't forget to vote and/or comment, I'm especially excited to hear what you have to say about this one. Thank you for supporting my writing! Xo

Jamie worked his ass off every day we were in Belfast. He left in the early morning hours to film and sometimes didn't get back to the hotel until late in the evening. I was grateful his sister had decided to stick around the area after our mock Thanksgiving to show me the best of Jamie's hometown. His family had become my only entertainment in his absence. I was obviously incredibly blessed to be in a loving relationship with a successful man who made my knees weak, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hard spending so much time without him in a foreign location.

I tried to remind myself of such luck every night when he came home and fell asleep in my arms. He was always exhausted, and I forced my heart to understand. I couldn't be greedy with all of his time. He had a life before me and was trying to maintain that success without directly involving me in the chaos. I liked the little cocoon he seemed to have us in. I was safe there.

So when he dragged me to bed after his long days at work I soaked up the affection; his head on my chest, the soft tickle of his labored breaths against my bare skin, and his warmth consuming me as I inhaled the woodsy scent of his shortened hair. I think he felt safe with me, too. Knowing that I was his saving grace after a stressful day gave me immeasurable gratification. I always wanted to be that for him, because he was my soft pillow to land on as well.

I jumped when I heard a knock on the door of our suite. I wasn't expecting company. In fact, the only thing on my agenda was a hot bath before a day immersed in writing, editing, and room service.

I walked to the door and checked the peephole. The friendly concierge from the front desk was standing on the other side. Unhooking the chain lock, I opened it to his bright smile.

"Top o' the mornin', Miss Taylor!" he said in his singsong, accented voice. "Mr. Dornan has sent these for you. May I come in?"

I nodded as he walked past me toward the kitchenette. He held in one hand a rather large, white box with a smaller red one sitting on top, and a bottle of wine in his other hand.

"Mr. Dornan has asked to keep these two items refrigerated." He pulled open the door to the refrigerator and put the smaller box and bottle of wine inside.

"Enjoy." He handed me the larger, semi-heavy box before bowing and walking away.

"Thanks," I muttered more to myself, confused over what Jamie would be sending that he couldn't just give to me when he got home.

I set the package on the dining room table in our suite and untied the red bow that secured the lid. Lifting it, I saw a handwritten note sitting atop white tissue paper.

Do me a favor and only wear the contents inside, with the exception of your birthday necklace. Be ready by 7. Tonight is date night!

I love you, xx –J

PS: Save the strawberries and wine for us to share...

My heart fluttered wildly inside my chest. I was more than curious to know what he was up to. Without hesitation, I tossed the tissue paper away and began pulling out the various items he'd sent.

A pair of strappy black heels sat beside a diamond earring and bracelet set. I admired the gorgeous stones before placing them on the table. I did a double take when I read the name Jimmy Choo on the soles of the shoes; he'd gone above and beyond. After moving them aside I noticed the beautiful cranberry colored material. Pulling it up from the box, it unfolded into a knee-length, fitted cocktail dress with a V-neck front and an exposed, zip-up back.
