The Positive Sign

Hi guys this is gonna be short but I just really wanted to make this into a think ok? Ok. And I just watched Fright Night, the one with David Tennant in it, and HOLY. SHIT ITS AWESOME. I HAD TO PAUSE IT WHENEVER DAVID WAS ON THE SCREEN BECAUSE I WAS FANGIRLING SO HARD AND I COULDNT HEAR WHAT WAS HAPPENING. WATCH IT NOW ON hdmovie14.net IT IS COMPLETELY FREE. GO. Doctor's POV:

Rose went to the store an hour ago and she still isn't back. I check the planet for her and I see that she's just leaving the nearest grocery/pharmacy. Before she left, she claimed

"Today is your birthday and the anniversary of us finally telling each other how we felt and everything after that. It's a special day, so I'm going to cook you a special dinner. I'll be back in a jiff!"

Her voice rings in my head. Then I hear the TARDIS door open. I look up to see Rose closing the door, and two grocery bags.

"Hello love." I say as I walk up to her and wrap my arms around her before giving her a good kiss on her silky lips. I remove my lips from hers and smile as I see her lick her lips.

"How was shopping, love?" I ask her as I take the bags. She grabs my arm and we both start walking to the kitchen.

"Well, it was a success. I got everything I needed." She says. I can smell that she's hiding something. But then the door to the kitchen appears and I have to time to ask.

"That's good then." I say as a default line. I set the bags on the counter and take everything out of the bags before Rose can stop me.

"Rose, what's this?" I say as I look at a magazine about mothers and babies. Her eyes widen slightly and she bites her lip.

"Is there something you need to tell me darling?" I ask her as I set the magazine down and walk to her, grabbing both her hands in mine and holding them in front of us.

"No, I just saw it and thought it looked interesting, and I wanted to read it a little but I was at the front of the checkout line so I decided to buy it." She says. She's lying. I think to myself. I smile though.

"That's ok, I was just wondering. I mean, I'm pretty sure something could've happened last night..." I say, trailing off. She smiles.

"Nothin happened, at least that I know of." She says as she smiles. She walks over to the bags and slips something into her pocket too fast for me to see exactly what it was.

"I'll be back in a jiff, just gotta use the loo." She says as she smiles and heads out the door. I sigh. I wish she'd just tell me what's happening. I say to myself in my mind. Oh well. I guess it'll have to wait until dinner.

-------LE TIME SKIP-------

Dinner is being set on the table, and it consists of steak, mashed pootatoes, and homemade garlic bread.

"Rose, this looks amazing." I say as I set the plate of garlic bread on the little table fit for only two. We both sit down and eat slightly quickly and talk, mostly about what planet Rose might want to visit next. That means I tell her a description of a planet, if she likes it she lets me know, and then when I've run out of suggestions she tells me her favorite and that's the one we go to. Then we finish our conversation and food.

"Uh, Doctor, I got you a um, a gift. It's uh, not a normal gift but I um, I hope you like it." She says as she hands me a small white box. I lift the lid on it to see a stick with a plus sign on it. I realize what it is, and why she had the magazine too.

"Doctor, why are you crying? Are you alright?" I hear Rose plead on the other side of the table. I didn't realize I was crying.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" I say in a quiet whisper, my voice shaking a little bit. She grabs my hand and smiles.

"Yeah, Doctor. You're gonna be a dad, and I'm gonna be a mum." When she finishes her sentence, the tears come faster than ever.

"Doctor are you angry? Why are you crying?!" She asks frantically.

"Oh Rose I am happy beyond your comprehension. I just, I can't believe I'm gonna have a family again. I'm so happy." I say, squeezing her hand and smiling as I wipe the tears off my face with my other hand. I get up and go around the table and crash my mouth onto Rose's.

"I love you so much Rose Tyler. I can't wait to raise that child of ours with you." I say with my forehead on hers. She lets a few tears fall from her own eyes.

"I love you too, and I can't wait either." She says. She leans in so we can kiss again. Let's just say that even if she weren't already pregnant, after what we did that night, she would've been.
