Chapter Twelve: The Date. Part 1

Alexis POV

We got into the town and drove to a small but really nice restaurant. Marcel parked the car and got out. He walked over to my side and opened the door holding his arm out. I linked my arm with his and got out. He closed the door and we walked through the restaurant's doors. Right away a waiter greeted us.

"How many?" The waited said.

"A table for two please." Marcel said smiling. The waiter led us to a small table in the corner of the restaurant. Marcel pulled out my chair for me and sat down thanking him. He smiled and sat across from me.

"Can I get you two are drink?" The waiter asked.

"I'll have a water please." I said.

"Make that two." Marcel said and the waiter nodded and walked off. I smiled at Marcel and he smiled back.

"This is actually my first date." I said shyly.

Marcel's POV

"This is actually my first date." Alexis said. I'm now confused, she has a kid but she never been on a date. Maybe she had a one night stand?

"It is? I would expect you to be on a lot more because of your beauty." I said smoothly. She blushed and shook her head.

"I'm always on the road, assigned to so many missions. I never had the time." She said. The waiter came back know and gave us our drinks. Soon after that we ordered our food. The question was bothering me badly.

"Alexis?" I asked her. She was drinking her water, she set her drink down.

"Yes Marcel?"

"Did you um ever had any kids?" I asked nervously. She started laughing, I looked at her very confused and serious.

"Okay I'm sorry I'm done! First of all I'm 17 and second I told you I never been on a date. I'm from an old fashioned family, I'm not allowed to have children until I'm in my twenties or I found the love of my life, but by the looks of it you are talking about Amanda. Even if she is mine, I would of had her at age nine. Amanda is a Werewolf orphan. Her pack was destroyed by the rouges and she was forced rouge. When I ran, I found her injured in her wolf form. I took her home and took care her. I gave her the choice of who she wanted to stay with and she picked me." Alexis explained.

"That's really nice of you. How old is she?" I asked relieved. I was happy she was never with another man. She is mine.

"She just turned 8 in September."

"Oh, so she is my mom's class?"

"Sarah London?" She asked. I nodded and she looked at me shocked and facedpalmed herself.

"I'm dead. I'm completely dead." She said putting her face in her hands.

"What's wrong?"

"Your mom is a Luna, making you an Alpha after you find your mate, I guess that is me. I would have to be a Luna, meaning that I would have to stay with the pack which is not the problem. I would have to quit-" She paused and froze. I looked at her and she mouthed "play along."

I looked at her questioningly but nodded. She smiled at me and said, "I'll give you my work number so you can get a hold of me, Starr can be a pain but she will love you" She said, grabbing a napkin and pulled a pen out. She wrote something down and handed it to me.

"Oh yeah. Thank you" I said taking the napkin and read, "there are 5 guys that walked in that have red eyes, 3 tables in front of us. I can't tell what they are, can you smell what they are?"

I nodded and breathed in. 3 Vampires and 2 rouges. I wrote it down on the napkin. Alexis saw it and nodded before mouthing to me, "keep playing along"

"I left my phone in the car and I need to call my brother and tell him that I'm going to be late." She said getting up.

"Okay, I'll wait here for our food." I said, she nodded and headed out the door. I took out my phone and got a text from Alexis.

Alexis: I'm outside, the Vampires will probably wait then come outside and the Rouges will follow soonly after. Hide somewhere that the group don't hear or smell you. I'll give you the go when it's time.

Me: I don't want you to get hurt. Let me mind-link for some help.

I  set my phone down and took a drink of my water, I was about to mind-link Carson but my phone vibrated.

Alexis: No! That's expected! Right now they think I'm just a helpless human. Perfect bait. Just do what I say, okay? I'm not the typical girl, I'm a hunter. I know how to handle these kind of situations. Just when they leave text me how many and what. Got it?

I groaned. She's going to get herself killed, she won't be able to take them down. I thought about it and looked behind me and saw that one of that Vampires were staring at the door to the parking lot that Alexis walked out of. Shit.

Me: Fine, but please be careful. I really don't want you to get hurt.

"Here is your guys food, if you need anything else just ask." Our waiter said interrupting my thoughts. I nodded and looked at the corner my eye and saw that the 3 Vampires got up and slowly started heading to the door Alexis went out.

Me: 3 Vampires. Go!

About 2 minutes later the two Rouges got up and headed out the same door.
I soonly followed and caught the door before it closed and I crouched running behind the cars. I covered my scent and I got to Alexis. I was hiding behind a different car, and I looked at Alexis, you can kinda tell that she is acting she is nervous.

"No, I need to go back to my boyfriend. He might be wondering what's taking me so long." Alexis said shyly. The guys laughed and one of the Vampires, I think is the leader, stroked Alexis's cheek.

"I think that dog breath can deal with the loss of a mate. Don't you think?"
