Chapter Thirty-Six: Unexpected Events

Alexis POV

Amanda popped out from behind a tree and sat on my lap, making me smile. She leaned into me and I wrapped my arms around her waist. It was nice to just spend time with Amanda, just my daughter and I.

"Amanda have you ever seen a fairy?" I asked smiling. Amanda looked up at me weirdly, I laughed softly at her.

"A fairy? No, they're a fairytale, a myth. To what my pack always said, my old mom used to read and tell me stories about them but my pack ruined it for me, they told me there is no such thing." Amanda said unfazed.

"That's about to change." I said smiling, I whistled a certain tune, the fairy whistle. Suddenly a tiny blue light came down from the trees. The fairy looked scared at first so I rolled up my sleeve and covered my shoulder with my hand and then took it off showing my hunters mark. A hunters mark is a tattoo that you get after you find your weapon. Like Dante has a shotgun and a rifle in an X formation, those are his weapons. Mine is cross bow but instead of an arrow in the slot its a throwing knife in its place.

The fairy smiled at me and looked at Amanda who was memorized, making me laugh. The fairy smiled and started making swirling motion at the pond, making a water tornado. Amanda gasped and smiled big, making me laugh and I held her hands.

"Cup your hands together." I said smiling. Amanda did what I said and the fairy guided the water tornado to us and gently put the water in her hands, Amanda started giggling and the fairy smiled brightly. The fairy looked at me and nodding at me, signaling that she has to go.

"Bye fairy, thank you for stepping away from your home to show my daughter your magic. If you need anything, my team and I are in the neighboring werewolf pack, we will be more than happy to help you." I said smiling, Amanda put the water back in the pond and waved at the fairy.

"Bye fairy, that was really fun. It was nice meeting you." Amanda said smiling, the fairy smiled and waved at us before disappearing into the trees.

"Come one shorty, we need to get back to the house before Marcel gets worried and sends a search party." I said laughing, Amanda giggled and nodded. I got up and picked Amanda up and shifted her to my hip and headed to the house.

Amanda and I were chasing each other around in our wolf form in front of the pack house with Marcel and Carson laughing at us. Amanda tried to bite my tail but I always would push her over with my snout. I knew I was making her frustrated by the determination. (I hope you get that reference.) Amanda suddenly ran towards me in full speed, laughing I ran away from her and hit behind the boys.

"Nu uh! I ain't gonna get trampled down by an eight year old!" Carson said moving away from me. I growled at him and took off running north of the territory with Amanda hot on my tail.

Suddenly scream of bloody murder came shrieking from the eastern border. I sprinted as fast as I can towards the scream with Amanda following me.

"Amanda, go to Carson and Marcel. It's safer to be with them, I will be alright. I'll mind link you if anything goes wrong. Understand?" I said in our mind-link, Amanda nodded and ran back the boys.

I kept running toward the eastern border and I soonly started hearing cries of terror. Right away I saw a pregnant woman cowering from a male rouge that was coming closer and closer to her. I snarled and sprinted faster and I pounced onto him. The Rouge and I rolled around in the grass and dirt, trying to bite each others neck. The rogue soon got me 'trapped' underneath him and was about to bite for my neck before I pushed the rouge off with my hind legs and he went flying to a tree. I got up and stood in front of the pregnant women who was terrified, snarling and growling at the rouge. The rogue stood up and slowly started walking to me, growling at us. The Rouge was about to launch at me but a light blonde wolf comes out of nowhere and tackles the rouge. It was Carson.
