Chapter Twenty-Nine: I Can Save Him

Alexis POV

"Thomas sit right there, I need to answer this phone call." I said sighing, Thomas nodded and sat down beside Marcel. I ran my hand through my hair and answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Lexi! What's wrong? The organization called me saying that they need someone near Paramount pack to call you." My friend Jackson said. Yes! Jackson! Oh thank the Gods! Jackson is fellow hunter from the organization and a really good friend of mine, almost like a brother. We've been friends for a good long time and I have to say he's pretty damn good at what he does.

"Jackson?! Oh this is great! I have a question, what is your mission down there?"

"We are supposed to help find the missing daughter of the Paramount pack, why do you ask?" He asked curiosily.

"Please tell me Alpha London is there." I asked.

"Alpha London? From the Twilight Moon pack? No, he isn't. Was he supposed to be there?" He asked worriedly, I groaned in frustration and punched the wall as hard as I can, leaving a huge hole.

"God damnit. It was set up! Mother fucker! Jackson, listen to me. You have your team there?"

"Shit, yes I do."

"Okay the daughter that is missing is here, she was supposed to be killed in that pack but she ran here. I want you to report her dead, death by rouges okay? Now I need you to get into the rouge camp by my old house, remember that place? I have a gut feeling that they took Alpha London there and he's being held there. What ever you do, do not mention mine or Thomas's name. I'm here at the Twilight Moon pack and they are after both of us. We need to get Alpha London out of there and then you will have to arrest the Alpha Cast due to trying to kill an innocent. I'll tell you the full story later but I need you to get Alpha London out of there as soon as possible, they are planning to kill him to get to his son to destroy the pack. Send him to the organization and they will have him escorted to here."

"Damn, glad you told me now. I'll have my team know the plan and we will get right on it. Thanks Alexis."

"Jackson?"

"Yeah Lexi?"

"Please be careful"

"Don't worry Lex, I'm always careful."

"I know but I don't want to risk it."

"You worry to much." I laughed and sniffled.

"Let the arrow guide your way."

"And let the shield save you." He  replied hanging up. I sigh and looked at my hand, just what I thought, it's bleeding. Marcel came up to me and hugged me tightly, Thomas came by us and patted my back. I hid my face into Marcel's chest.

"I'm so sorry Marcel. This is my fault." I said tearing up. "Alexis stop beating yourself up. Jackson has this, he's a strong, smart guy. He'll save Alpha London." Emily said softly.

"Hey, everything is alright. Okay? You didn't know." Marcel said kissing the top of my head.

"Alexis, I'm going to head to Oregon. I know his scent so we will find him faster." Thomas said softly. I lifted my head and Marcel let go of me and I hugged Thomas tightly.

"Okay, just please be safe. They want you too, not just me." I said sniffling. He smiled gently and hugged me back.

"Don't worry Al, I'll be careful." He said letting me go. I stepped back and leaned against Marcel, my legs just couldn't hold me anymore. Marcel wrapped his arms around me and laid his chin on my shoulder.

"I know. I just can't loose you Tommy, your my only family that survived."

"Hey, hey. None of that. You are not going to loose me, it's just a short trip. I'll leave tomorrow, okay?" Thomas said. I nodded and he smiled and left the room.

I sighed and leaned further against Marcel, he snuggled into my neck and breathed in my scent. I smiled softly and he then suddenly picked me up bridal style and brought me down the stairs and sat me down onto the couch of the living room. Then he left into the direction of the kitchen, I snuggled into the couch and Marcel come in with a first aid kit and a sandwich with chips. I smiled and he sent the plate down and took my hand that I punched the wall with and grabbed a alcohol wipe. He started wiping off all the blood then he grabbed a bandage wrap and wrapped my knuckles. He gently kissed the bandage and smiled at me, I laughed and kissed his cheek. Marcel grabbed the first aid kit and handed me my food.

"Thank you Marcel. A lot." I said smiling and I grabbed the food from him. He bent down and softly kissed me.

"Anything for you Bright Eyes." He said putting away the first aid kit. I smiled more and he sat down beside me, I turned around a bit and leaned into him. I bit into my sandwich and next thing I know, I hear Amanda's scream. I jolted upwards and Amanda comes running out of the kitchen and runs to us, jumping onto my lap.

"What's wrong Amanda!?" I said swallowing my food.

"Brent said he was coming after me!" She said freaking out.

"What?!' Marcel said worriedly.

"Amanda! Come out, come out wherever you are! The tickle monster is here!" Brent said laughing running to the living room, Amanda threw the blanket over her and giggled, making  Marcel and I laugh.

"Have you two seen Amanda?" Brent said smiling.

"Nope haven't seen her since I passed out." I said acting seriously.

"Me neither. She must of ran off to find my mom." Marcel said smiling. Brent nodded and ran off to the stairs. Marcel and I both laughed and I said, "All clear, he ran upstairs."

Amanda smiled and took a chip from my plate, making us laugh.

"What? I worked up an appetite!" Amanda said adorably. I laughed and kissed the top of her head and gave her half my sandwich.

"Amanda you are sure one unique girl. First you act like an adult and then you act like a child." Marcel said smiling.

"Well I'm still a kid and kids need to be kids but sometimes a kid need to grow up a bit to understand life."  Amanda said munching on her sandwich. I smiled and kissed her nose making her giggle.

"You are my wise princess and I wouldn't have it any other way." I said smiling. Amanda smiled and leaned against me and I set my plate down and hugged Amanda. Marcel wrapped his arms around me and I cuddled into him. This, this felt right, cuddling with my mate and daughter.

Carson suddenly bursts through the front door, scaring all of us.

" What's wrong Carson?" Marcel asked concernly.

"There are humans by the border, requesting to see Alexis."Carson said breathing in deeply trying to catch his breath.

"Did they leave a name?" I asked.

"Yeah, there main guy said Dante."
