When I finally found the woman underwater, I knew that she hit her head hard. I grabbed her and swam back. Placed her on the shore and saw wide cut and a bruise above her left eye. I quickly inhaled and pressed her mouth giving her lungs oxygen. I was lucky and the woman coughed out all of the water instantly.

'Mark, bring the woman back to the pack we will start fishing' Seth said and I just nod. I was glad that for our men coming back with the woman was no big deal.

Whitout the delay I started to run towards the mountains. It was better to treat her wounds as fast as possible.

I think someone dropped the bomb on my head. The first thing that happened when I awoke was a huge pain hitting my head. I groaned and put my one hand on my forehead. But it was instantly removed by another hand and I froze. Someone is with me...

"Must be Lucy" I thought and opened my eyes. I saw stone ceilings. Waaaaait, stone? My woman instincts kicked in and I bolted up only to fall back on something hard but soft groaning when the pain shot through my head.

'Don't move your head, it has a serious wound' I heard woman's voice and turned my head to her. My eyes popped out and I sat up taking all the pain.

'Holy mother of goose, who are you?' I asked. In front of me stood a woman with long brown hair and eyes. She had a short dress made out of the animals fur.

'Definitely not a goose. My name is Mara and I'm pack's healer' she said. What does she mean by pack?

She gave me a small bowl made out of copper with some green liquid. My face probably was covered with suspicion because Mara giggled.

'It's not poisoned. I put herbs that are painkillers' she said and left the room. I quickly drank the medicine not wanting to bear with the pain. It tasted like grass. Literally. When I was a kid I ate some out of curiuosity and I still remember the taste.

After my pain went away, which was really fast, I looked around the room. It was round and looked like it was carved into the mountain. There were tons of clay pots and wooden boxes full with herbs. In the middle of the room was a small fireplace. Next to me were three more beds carved out of stone as well but had a few layers of fur. Opposite of the beds was a stone table set with different tools.

Not having what to do I laid down. Just as I did that a man walked in. The same man from the river.

'Ohh no' I said when reality hit me and I turned away from him covering myself with the fur.
'What kind of the reaction is that?' He asked and I heared him walking towards me.
'Fuck you' I groaned bitting my lower lip under the fur.
'Is that how you thank someone who saved your life?' His voice was full with sarcasm.

Hearing that I remembered the events and went silent. My ex spouse found me and confronted me but I ran and then fell into the lake.

'Thanks, I owe you one' I said quietly but he heard because he signed and walked away.
'The name is Mark by the way' he said and I heard cloth being moved. He left the room.

The same second I felt a tear going down my cheek. I understood my situation very quickly. The stone room, people with fur and leather clothes, tatoos and stone age atmosphere. It made two things obvious:

I was in the wild people's territory and I had to get out of here as quickly as possible.
