'What?!' I was shocked to say the least 'what do you mean by outside the pack?'

Alpha Evan and Mara exchanged looks.

'I didn't tell her that yet' Mara said and Alpha nod.

'Whitout us there are... three... more packs throughout the island' he explained and I frowned.

'Are you saying someone just waltzed in, marked me and then disappeared?'

'It seems so. The only people who can mark someone anytime they want are the Alphas. If your mate is normal wolf then he will be killed.' Alpha Evan explained further while I just sat there eyes wide.

'Killed? Why?' I was confused. Another of their rules or something?

'By defying our traditions they show disrespect to our ancestors' he explains and I just nod.

'Before you kill him I will castrate him' a growl left my throat. I could feel everybody's stares but ignored it. Just thinking about my mate made me furious.

Alpha Evan cleared his throat.

Hit someones nerve.....

'How do you feel?' He asked.

Why aren't they nice.....

'Like someone took everything out of my body and then put it all back in the wrong places. Plus the anger that won't disappear' I said and signed closing my eyes.

Silence rolled down the room. I opened my eyes only to see Alpha Evan and Mark looking at each other. But I took notice to their eyes. They were clouded.

Are they using fucking mind link or something?!....

I sat there my eyes wide as I watched them. Then their eyes went back to normal and Mark looked at me. A grin formed on his face.

'Do you want to go for a run?' He asked.

'In what form?' I reasked with my eyebrow up. He simply rolled his eyes.

'Follow me' he said and walked to the entrance.

I slowly stood up. My muscles ache like after some heavy exercise. I wiggled my way to Mark and we left the infirmary.

When we walked through the cave I could see everybody staring at me. For the first time in here I felt uncomfortable. As if they found my biggest secret.

Mark, probably saw the stares as well because he sped up and we quickly left the cave. He turned towards the ravine and I followed him.

'Everybody knows about your marking' Mark said out of the blue while we were walking our ways to the forest.

'How?' I asked.

'Seth, one of our pack members, with his mate found you in the shrine. As they described you, you looked tired on the outside but beat up in the inside. You were pale and your breathing was shallow like you were on the verge of dying. You were covered by black pelt that looked unused' he said and stopped in my tracks.

'Black pelt?' I asked and remembered the stranger. 'Maybe that's why I couldn't see him clearly' I said and we continued our walk.

'Yeah we thought the same' he said and we finally reached the forest.

Suddenly Mark started to take his clothes off.

'Whoa, whoa, whoa hold your horses. What are you doing?' I asked confused. He turned to me with a smirk.

'Taking my clothes off' he said and I rolled my eyes.

'Why?' I asked with the tone as if I was talking with a child.

'Because I don't want to go all the way back naked after the shift' he said with the same tone and I just let out "oh" and continued standing. Seeing me not moving Mark signed.

'Are you going to watch me like that?' He asked with his eyebrows up.

'I don't know how to change' I replied my face stone hard.

'Oh right, sorry. Just imagine your wolf in your mind. After a few changes it will become like breathing to you' he said and his pant fell off. I instantly turned around. I saw a nearby tree and started to make my way towards it.

'Where are you going?' Mark asked.

'Behind the tree you moron' I replied not turning around and walked behind the tree. It was big enought to cover me. I started to take my fur dress off.

'Are you scared to show your body for me?' He asked playfully and I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see me.

'I do have a mate now. You don't want to get killed, do you?' I replied standing naked. I felt stupid standing in the middle of the forest naked with a naked dude behind the tree.

'Uhhh, I'm so scared' he laughed and I heard bones cracking. I flinched at that sound.

'Don't you dare coming here!' I shouted and closed my eyes.

I imagined my grey wolf standing before me but nothing happened.

Well that's not working...

Then my mind went to the man. I remembered my anger towards him and instantly I felt my body shifting. Just this time it didn't hurt like in the shrine. Except my muscles of course since they still ache.

Now in my wolf form I walked out and saw Mark sitting and waiting. I walked to him and sat in front of him not knowing what to do. He stared at me with his yellow eyes. Suddenly he stood up.

'Grey huh..' he said in my mind and playfully poked me with his snout.

'What colour are my eyes?' I asked curiously and poked him back.

'Blue. Nice combination' he replied and I chuckled.

'Are you complementing me, Mark?' We started to walk.

'You're welcome' he replied and took off. I rolled my eyes and ran after him.
