'That is a good question. Where were you?' Suddenly asked the man sitting in the middle and everyone went quiet.

He was clearly someone important. The man was tall with dark brown hair pulled up and falling behind him. He was the only one who had both sides shaved with different ornaments. He was wearing fur clothes with one pelt over his shoulder. It was clearly a wolf pelt.

I, without realizing, looked at him and my head leaned to my right in confusion. A smirk appeared on his face.

'My name is Evan and I'm your Alpha' he said and I just let out "oh".

'So, Rose, why weren't you in common area like rules said?' He asked and looked at me seriously. Under his heavy stare I felt my palms getting sweaty.

'I was in the ravine' I said and whispers went down the cave. Alpha Evan frowned.

'What where you doing there?' He asked and I could see him getting angry.

'I...I thought I heard someone crying so I went to.... check' I said and lowered my eyes, like I read in werewolf stories, in submission. I could feel his heavy gaze on me. Shit, this was nerve racking.

'I see. The sound was made by the wind. You are not the first one to fall for that nature trick' he said and I exhaled in relief. Mark knew that too then.

'Go, enjoy your meal' he said.

'Thank you, you too' I said and suddenly Sara choked on her drink.

'You okay?' I asked sitting next to her where she left some space for me. She looked at me like I just turned in to the cat.

'Do you wish a death sentence?' She whispered and I frowned.

'What? No I don't' I said confused.

'Rose, Alpha always has the last say. Not only did you ended the conversation but you didn't address him with his title.' She explained and I frowned even more. I will get wrinkles if I won't stop frowning.

'Well I'm sorry but I was being polite. It's not my fault you guys invented so many rules here. Where I came from, thanking and wishing others back shows that you are a decent person and not some rude dude.' I said and drank my tea.

'It's not your home, Rose, so you need to follow our rules' Sara signed and I looked at her. She was nervous for some reason. I glanced at Alpha Evan and saw him openly looking at us. Great he was listening to our conversation. No wonder Sara was nervous.

'I am trying to learn all of your... pack's rules but...' but I didn't ended what I was saying because Sara quickly shut me up with her hand.

'Rose, it's not my pack' she said with her eyes wide from fear. I couldn't hold myself and I rolled my eyes. I could see Sara freeze and in the corner of my eyes I saw Alpha Evan standing up.

'Rose, come with me' he said and I looked at him with Sara's hand on my mouth.

'You are dead' she whispered and let me go. I stood up and followed Alpha Evan. Whole cave was dead silent. Did I really just screwed up?

Alpha went through the cloth that was covering the entrance which was in the middle of the cave's back wall. It always had two torches lit. Behind the cloth I saw round stairs leading up. Alpha Evan was no where to be found.

He is probably all the way up already... I thought and started to climb.

After few minutes I finally got up and saw a room. Alpha Evan was walking towards the stone made thing that looked like a desk right in front of the entrance where I stood. This room was not big but the other that I saw a glimse of through the entrance to my right was huge. It was probably a living quarters.

This room had bookshelves by the desk with what looked like books. Right to my left was a long table for more than 6 people. Furs where hanging on the walls and were laid on the ground. By the walls were lit torches that made the room a little bit creepy with shades.

Alpha Evan sat behind his desk and motioned for me to come. I stood in front of him and he looked seriously at me.

'So, Rose. How should I punish you for being disrespectful?' He asked and my eyes widen from shock. Punish?
