Jacob been acting up at SXSW. I can't take it. He getting too grown. Lmaooo on with the chapter💀

Nani POV

"Nani why I haven't heard from you? I came to pick you up yesterday like you asked and you wasn't here."

I pulled into the school parking lot and checked my makeup in the mirror.

"Sorry Marcus, I've been really busy. I went home early yesterday to clear my mind on a few things."

I heard shuffling in the background as I got out, grabbing my backpack.

"Oh. Well I leave in 2 weeks. I wanna see you before then, aight?"

"Okay. I'm sorry Marcus." I said again.

"It's all cool baby girl. Talk to you later."

"Bye."

I looked up to see Jacob standing in front of me.

"Who was that?"

"Marcus."

Jacob straight faced me as we continued walking towards the school.

"If I have to cut things off with Melissa you have to cut things off with him."

"Jacob I didn't ask you to do that."

"But I did it."

"Because you're the one that messed us up. Me and Marcus have nothing. The guy is going back to Louisiana in a couple days."

"Nani I'm trying so hard." He balled up his fists and I decided to keep calm because I know how his temper can get.

"Jacob, we are friends. Just take it easy." I patted his shoulder and he nodded, walking off.

I sighed and made my way to first period. I looked over and saw that Jacob wasn't at his desk.

Am I wrong for how I reacted? I mean he's the reason why we aren't together. I've been honest 100% and he should be able to trust me when I say me and Marcus have nothing. He's a cute guy and all but our lives are completely different.

Then on the other hand, I understand where Jacob is coming from. Believe it or not he is super sensitive and I know he is probably scared that I will find someone else.

I wish I was stable enough to consider it but Jacob is still the only person I see myself with, even after all of this drama. I get a text from a random number and I frowned.

Hey this is Melissa. I want to apologize. Can we meet after school?

This girl was crazy if she thought I was meeting her grimy ass anywhere. I don't trust her one bit, and I wasn't letting my guard down. I decided to ignore her text and speak to her at practice. She needed enough witnesses if something were to happen.

1st period went by hella slow and so did the rest of school. I made my way to practice and went into the locker room to change.

"Damnnnn Nani!" Cali yelled, causing me to turn around.

"What?"

"That ass girl." She smacked it and I realized I was only in my thong.

"Kelsey you're so childish." I put my spandex on and me and Cali made our way to the dance room.

I felt Melissa staring at me and I rolled my eyes, bending down to stretch.

"Why is Medusa staring so hard?" Cali whispered.
