"Hello Internet." I smiled at the camera focusing on me. "Today I'm here with Phil," I said once Phil got into view.
"And a very important guest..." I said as Emerald got into the cameras sight.
"Hi." She shyly said.
We continued the video, explaining what Emerald liked and disliked, all of that stuff, and we explained that she was gonna have her own YouTube channel and we'd tell them when she posts her first video so that the fans can subscribe to her.

"That was great!" Phil said, I nodded and Emerald nodded a little.
"Now we better get your account figured out... What should you be called?"
We decided on just Emerald because we were boring and uncreative.

We helped get it set up for her and she quickly had her own YouTube channel, but videos, yet to come.

Since it was Saturday and Brook was with her friends, we left Emerald to her own devises in her room when we had to go out shopping for about an hour and a half.

"Okay, you have me and Phil's number, so call us if anything goes wrong, we'll be back soon, there's food in the fridge, please don't trash the place." I told her, starting to gabble on about things that I knew were stupid. I'm not sure why I started to go so overprotective about leaving our 13 year old daughter home alone for about an hour, but yet she still listened though I heard Phil laugh a little behind me until he got a little pissed and poked me when I started talking about parties and sex, for some reason.

"Dan!" He said, turning me around, but still trying hard not to laugh, "she's 13 years old! It's not like she's gonna invite all the kids in the neighbourhood and start partying!"

"Your right." I said, turning to her, "sorry sweetie, I got carried away," I chuckled, saying goodbye again and leaving her, I took a deep breath once I closed the door and me and Phil started to make our way to town.

"Your pathetic, Dan." He laughed a little.
"I know.." I laughed.

💚Emerald💚

"That was pretty intense." I mumbled, but knew that he was only trying to protect me, but definitely got carried away.

I walked into my room and sat down on my bed. I looked at my desk and saw the camera and tripod that Dan and Phil got me and my guitar in the corner of the room. I stood up and grabbed it and checked if it was still in tune, when I tuned it properly, I got the camera and tripod and sat on my bed so I could be seen.

"Um... Hi. You may have seen Dan and Phil's video with me, their new daughter, Emerald. That's me." I smiled shyly.

"So when Dan and Phil told me that I should get a channel, I didn't think that I'd have anything to do on it, unlike my sister, Brooklyn and my parents. So I just want to... Kind of do what my parents, Dan and Phil do, but also a lot of times, I will post singing videos, as soon as I get the confidence though, but I might sing a little bit at the end, to give a little taster, I guess." I said, laughing a little at the end.

"Also, I am sorry that I sound pretty shy and quiet, mostly because that's me, but it's not because I don't want anyone to hear me, because no one is home actually, it's just a little strange, talking to a camera. But I will get my confidence. Once Dan and Phil tell their fans, probably the ones that are watching, about me, then I would be grateful if you like and subscribe to me and comment something nice." I continued, and started talking about myself and anything else that should be known.

After I talked about myself I got my guitar and introduced that I was going to sing Touch by Troye Sivan.

I finished that verse and smiled at the camera and turned it off, I knew what to do next, I started to edit because I remembered Dan and Phil taught me how to do it, soon I got it perfect and uploaded it to my channel with the title, 'First Video💚' and sent a message to Phil saying that I had posted my first video and he sent me back a thumbs up emoji and I quickly got thousands of views and a lot of likes and comments, some of the comments saying people liking my hair and saying my singing was really great and a few people saying I sucked and I should 'lol kill myself and drink bleach' but I just laughed and knew I couldn't do anything about that.
