March, third week

Kai's POV:

My shift had ended at five, plus having to be on the bus for a half an hour, I was dead tired. It didn't help either that I had to get home and do my homework and study.

Tomorrow we had a big test and I wasn't planning on flunking. Mr. Do was so strict with grades that I think he cared more about that then if I had done a good at working, and bringing more money for the family.

Mr. Do was watching tv when I got home. I took my shoes off next to the welcoming home mat. He nodded his head after hearing me enter. He doesn't say anything so I don't either.

I greet Mrs. Do, who was in the kitchen making dinner. She gives me a kiss in the cheek and goes back to the stove. My muscles were hurting from all the moving and stacking. My backpack was so heavy with books, that I just wanted to get to my bed and lay myself to sleep.

I open the door to see Kyungsoo, running past me to the hallway. That was weird. Confused, I set my backpack down and sit on the bed. I take my shirt off, leaving myself half naked.

I lay myself on the bed and close my eyes. My hand is on top of my eyes to block the light. It feels so good to lay down and let my muscles relax and my mind take a break for a while.

I hear the door open but I don't open my eyes since I know that it's Kyungsoo. Before I know it, I hear scream that makes me jump up. My eyes open, only to land on Baekhyun.

"What is it? You scared me,"I sigh, pushing myself back to the wall.

"You're naked. I come back from the restroom, hoping to see Kyungsoo but instead I find you with out a shirt." He sits down on a chair, grabs his chest, and pretends to gasp for air.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him. I didn't expect to see him here. I thought that I would be coming home to cuddle next to my boyfriend but instead I find myself next to an over reacting Baekhyun.

"Excuse me? Do I need permission to be here? Before you came a long, I was here all the time. Just ask father,"He scoffs. Giving me an eye glare, he turns around to face a different wall.

"I mean why are you actually here again. You were here yesterday as well. Don't you have someone to bother instead, like for example Chanyeol."

"I am here because Kyungsoo is tutoring me. Duh?" He says like is the most obvious thing in the world.

"What about the others? They can help you as well. My time with Kyungie is right after I come home from work, okay Baekhyun," I tell him irritated. For the past week, all I see is him when I come from work.

Lunch is for me to spend time with my friends, and after work is my time with my boyfriend so I don't need an annoying diva trying to ruin that for me.

"Well for starters, the ones who helped me were my ex best friends and none of the others are that good at school to help me out." He turns around to face me. His left knee goes over his other leg and he looks down to his fingers in his stretched hand. "So that leaves me with your soon to be husband."

We glare at each other. No words are necessary to exchange our distaste for each other at this precise moment. He is not going to get his way. I'll make Kyungsoo get rid of him, even if I I had to black mail my own boyfriend.

The door opens and closes. My eyes are still on his and vise versa. Our eye contact isn't broken and it will never be because I'm not going to loose to him. He thinks that he can get anything that he wants but he won't. Chanyeol might have fallen for his stupid charms but I won't.
