Baekhyun's POV:

It was past after midnight and I was still wide awake. Since Kai had fallen asleep earlier in our mattress- our only mattress- Chanyeol had decided to sleep on the floor next to me.

I have to admit that sleeping next to Kai was so weird. I felt like I was betraying D.O. I would of loved to sleep in the floor next to Chanyeol but he didn't let me.

I felt like I had to get out of there. It felt too stuffy to be around them. With Kai sleeping like if he had passed out due to an overdose of alcohol and Chanyeol sleeping in the floor like it wasn't a big deal for his best friend and his boyfriend too be sleeping on the same bed, it finally made me pop.

The only room where I felt like I could take a breather was the restroom. Our room was no option. Just being stranded in the middle of that room with nothing in it made me shiver from the creeps. Who knows what kind of people lived here before.

My eyes were so sleepy. I kept woozing off to sleep a couple of times. The sound of a notification would be prop me out of the sleeping doze.

The light of the restroom didn't help at all. Every time I would close my eyelids for a few seconds, the light reflecting me reminded me of my current situation. I was no longer at my house. My new life had started today.

I sigh, letting my head tilt a little to the side close to the door. Today had been so exhausting. My mom had literally thrown me out, only giving me a couple of hours to get my stuff- only the important stuff.

Then it was Chanyeol's turn. His mother was so caring and understanding. I felt a little awkward because I didn't know how to respond. My mother was only nice when it was convenient for her.

The buzzing sound of my phone brings me out of my trance. Yawning, I unlock my phone and go to my Facebook notifications. My late night post had gotten thirty likes and five comments. Most of them were from Luhan. Except One: Kyungsoo. Raising my eyebrows, I reply to his comment. Are you okay?

In a few seconds, he replies back. Messenger. Is all he says. I do as I say, getting out of the Facebook and going to the messenger app. His name is black and at the top of the list. I click it, immerse at how long his message is.

Is Kai with you? Please tell him that I am sorry. Please don't let him do anything stupid. I miss him so much. I know what I did was stupid; I did not tell him what I was doing. I'm thankful that you didn't tell him anything. You're a really good friend. I' m glad he's with you guys.

I laugh. He makes it sound like he's saying goodbye. Idiot. Kai is going to go back to him tomorrow. His tears are for nothing. Literally. Kai is so in love with him that he could never stay mad at him. I'm pretty sure he has already forgiven D.O.

D.O. calm down. You did nothing wrong. You went with what was right, and believe it or not, he's going to thank you for that. Don't worry, he'll be back. And Kyungie, what are friends for?

I shut my phone off and get up. Being in the restroom all night is not gonna work. Eventually I'll get claustrophobic and wander back to them. Better to do it now. I turn the light off and slowly close the door.

When I get back, Chanyeol is next to Kai in the bed. Chanyeol's long legs are out of the bed and sprawl all over the dirty grayish carpet. Kai's head is on Chanyeol's middle chest while his body is curled up in a fetus position. I have an urge to laugh but instead I bite my lip, a snorting chuckle coming out of my mouth. I clasp my hands over my mouth to silence myself.

I don't think I would ever in my life be able to see them so close together. They look like a couple rather than best friends.

Grabbing two comforters and a fitted sheet, I spread them over the space next to Chanyeol. I lay his feet on top of the comforters so that they don't touch the cold carpet. Finally, Once I am comfy and wrapped up in a burrito, I close my eyes. Exhaustion takes over me. Now I remember how tired I was.
