December 23, Tuesday

3rd POV:

Kyungsoo was right outside the door, when Chanyeol and Kai came to pick him up. He was wearing black pants, a Christmas tree sweater, and the present for his secret Santa, Luhan, hanging from his hand.

"Hey babe," Kai yelled from the passenger seat.

Kyungsoo smiled as he got in the seat. He kissed his boyfriend briefly before putting the seatbelt over him. Kai kissed his baby bump that was showing more as the days passed.

Kai doesn't show any worry but he's afraid that Kyungsoo might be in trouble. His boyfriend is chubbier, something that is not normal for someone who is only pregnant with one kid at this early in the pregnancy. It could be that he eats too much but it doesn't convince Kai at all.

"Why do you have two gifts bags?" Kyungsoo questions his boyfriend.

Kai has two bags next to him. One on his lap and the other on the floor. Kyungsoo doesn't know that Kai got him as secret Santa so he tells him that one is for him and the other present is for his secret Santa. So in reality the two presents are for Kyungsoo.

"Aww. Can't wait to open it." He kisses his boyfriend on the cheek.

"Are you going to kiss Kai this whole time, D.O.?" Chanyeol makes a disgusting face.

Kyungsoo being too caught up on his boyfriend, drooling all over him, that he forgot that Chanyeol was even on then car. Which is stupid because who else would be driving the car. He and Kai are both on the back seat.

Kyungsoo with out knowing that he was muttering, says that he wishes he would kissed Baekhyun already so that he isn't so grumpy. Chanyeol catches what he says and gives him a glare from the review mirror.

Kyungsoo shrugs, leaning his head into his boyfriend's shoulder. Kai unfazed by what's going on, is texting his friend-brother from his foster care, Vernon.

Vernon🐵: have fun with your friends. Show me them when I come visit you.

Kai❤️: you're coming to visit me? 😦

Vernon🐵: uh yeah after New Years

Kyungsoo notices his boyfriends smile. Without knowing he himself smiles. Seeing his boyfriend smiling makes him happy. He must be texting Vernon, he thinks. Kyungsoo would love to see that boy. He would love to thank him for making Kai happy while he was away from home.

"What's making you smile so much?"

Kai looks up, his smile never fading,"Vernon is coming to see me on New Years."

Kyungsoo leaps himself to Kai out of joy. Vernon is coming! He's finally going to meet him. He wonders how he is going to look like. Is he going to be handsome like Kai? Or nice and sweet like Lay or Xiumin? It doesn't matter to him, all that matter is that the guy that made his boyfriend happy is coming.

"That's great Kai. I would also love to meet him. I bet we be great friends." Chanyeol smiles to Kai. Kai returns the smile back. Kai would love to have his brother and one of his most important people, getting along.

"He would love all of you. He's so anxious to meet my boyfriend and the one who's carrying my baby." Kai grabs Kyungsoo's hand and kisses it.

"I can't wait until we know what our baby's gender is." Kyungsoo lays his hand on his stomach.

He knows that not going to the doctor soon is wrong. But he can't do that know. He feels like if he tells his parents that he's pregnant, he's going to ruin Christmas and the Christmas traditions. His extended family comes on Christmas Day every year. They all talk about how successful their kids are-because on the Do family every kid is great in school.
