Chapter 12: Sleepless in Gravity Falls

Star's POV

I laid down on the blankets and pillows laid out for me in Dipper and Mabel's room. I stared at the moldy wood ceiling and sighed. I've been sleeping on and off all night. Something was off. I felt scared, vulnerable, and unsafe. I've never longed for my wand more then this moment. I looked over to Dipper's bed which was empty and over at Mabel's where she was fast asleep. Her braces softly whistled. But her face was tight as if something was bothering her.

I looked next to me where Marco laid fast asleep. I watched him for a second. I watched his chest rise and fall and his black hair that fell across his face.

Wait, what?! Calm down Star, you're tired and you're sleep is making you feel different about things. Chill, you don't like Marco like that.

I headed towards the kitchen hoping that maybe a glass of water will help. I walked down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I looked in every cupboard for a glass and when I found one I filled it with water. I began to sip on the cold water which only woke me up more. I should've picked milk instead, I thought. All of a sudden I saw something outside the window.Or at least I think I did. I screamed and dropped my water. But when I looked out the window it was gone. I took deep breaths to calm my nerves. What was that thing? Why was it looking right at me? And why do I feel like I've met this creature before? If I would've known that coming to Gravity Falls would bring new enemies I would've never came.

But the most amazing things is, I never thought I'd see a floating one eyed triangle in a top hat.
