Chapter 22

Amelia's POV

I woke up before the guys. I made bacon. Lots of it. I couldn't sleep thinking about the fight Aaron and I had. it reminded me of the day he slapped me. I think this whole vampire thing has changed him. Back then when he wasn't a vampire we use to get along so well now all we do is fight. I open a cabinet and see a bottle of champagne. I look back to see if anyone is there I grab the champagne and open in. I grab a glass cup and pour some on there. I drink it fast. I pour some more. Before I could drink it someone knocks it off my hand. It smashes on the floor.

"Ugh what the hell" I say

"Don't you ever touch that again" Aaron said grabbing it. He walks out of the house with the bottle.

"Asshole" I said

"I CAN HEAR YOU!" He shouted from outside. I roll my eyes and sit down to eat the bacon. Cameron enters the kitchen. I smile at him. He's so tired he didn't notice me.

"OH SHIT" he said grabbing a knife " oh sorry I'm just really tired today I don't know what's wrong with me"

"You're definitely tried" I said

"That's the thing vampire don't get tired" he said " I haven't drinked blood in weeks"

"Cameron why haven't you've been drinking" I asked

"It's just that I'm tired of being a vampire I hate it I can't eat food well I can but it just isn't the same" he says "that bacon you're eating looks so delicious but it won't taste the same"

"Sucks to be you... Okay not funny but Who turned you?" I ask

"Nate" he said "he tried to safe my life but he fed me his blood and snapped my neck"

"Ouch" I said "we're kinda the same I don't want to be a witch"

"Why? You have power and you don't have to drink blood" he said

"Oh come on you can compel people to do what ever you want" I said "I think that's magic"

"I guess" Cameron chuckles "hey....when are we going to tell Aaron about us?"

"When he finally understands what it feels like to love someone" I said "actually Lucy is doing a morning walk"

"Hopefully they bump into each other" Cameron says. We walk to the living room and lay down on the couch. I turn on the tv. I tried to switch the channel but they where all the news.

"What the" Cameron said "wait leave it there"

"It's not like a can change it" I said

"There have been bodies missing from their graves" said the news lady "a women said she caught a glimpse of this guy and if you've seen him immediately call 911 who knows what this guy is doing with these bodies"

A picture of Aaron showed up. Cameron and I looked at each other. I get my phone out and call Aaron.

Me: Aaron you have to come home right now

A: what's going on?

Me: there's no time to explain you have to come home without letting anyone see you!

A:o-okay I'm on my way.

I hang up and then there's a knock on the door. Well that was fast. I run to the door and open it.

"Lucy" I said

"Hi I uh saw the news" she said coming in "is it true?"

"I-I don't know Aaron is coming home" I said

We walk to the living room and stand there waiting for Aaron. All of us freaked out.

"Why is he taking so long" Cameron walked in circles with his hand on his chin. Just then the door opens.

"Aaron" I said hugging him "you're okay"

"Yeeahh" he said confused "what's going on"

"Look" Lucy said. She took the pause off the tv.

"We don't know what this man is doing but family's have called the police saying that they've seen their dead relatives walking around" said the news man "this is some kind of mad science!"

"That's me" Aaron said looking at the drawing of him "b-but I didn't do this"

"Nate.." I said

"Huh?" Lucy said

"Cameron remember that red crystal Nate wanted so bad to bring his sister back to life?" I say

"Yeah but how did he get it we didn't even go" Cameron said

"Uh he must of had a friend that isn't vampire" I cleared my throat "but how was it that they saw Aaron?"

"Shapeshifter" Lucy said

"Wait that exist as well?" I ask

"Uh yeah actually I'm one of them" Lucy said looking down "surprise.."

"Hey it's okay to be one of them we're all something here" Aaron said hugging her. Cameron and I look at each other and smile.

"Wait you guys already told Amelia she's a witch?" She asked

"Yeah?" Aaron said making it sound like a question "how did you know she was a witch"

"I uh use to work for Ida" she cleared her throat and her eyes started watering "that's your moms name she uh actually sent me here to... Kill Amelia"

"What!" I gasp. Cameron grabs me into his arms.

"I know and I'm sorry" she cried "I could never kill you Amelia your an amazing person and I just can't kill you so that why I'm not"

"What else haven't you told me?" I ask

"Remember when I told you about my mom not letting me have friend?" She asks and I nod my head "that was actually your mom she knew you where under my bed so she pretended to act like a over protective mom" she looked at me as another tear rolled down her cheek "when you left she asked if I've done it and I said you escaped and she did this" she turns around "can you help me Aaron?"

Aaron helps her lifts her shirt up a little. She had cuts that are huge. I could put my finger in there. And the cut was bigger than my hand.

"But isn't it going to cure it's self?" I ask then Aaron let's go of her shirt

"The cuts are to big it might take days to go back to normal" she groaned as she fixed her shirt

"Here let me help you" Aaron said fixing her shirt

"Are you guys mad at me?" She asks biting her bottom lip

" no you're on our side and we're going to help you kill Ida" I said. I am not going to call this women mom.
