Chapter 14 My Little River I wake up cradled in Alexander's arms as he steps out of the car. he looks at me noticing my confused expression. "Dear, we have to get you ready. Don't worry, We are just going to the grocery store." he says. that's when i notice we were at Kroger. I am set in the basket and i stand with a small giggle. "You got to be the food monster okay? You will have food around you but you mustn't eat them yet." he says walking inside. I nod sticking my thumb in my mouth. a few girls make goo goo eyes at him but he ignores them. when they see me Anger and jealously came off them in waves. "Don't mind them River, They are just jealous cuz you're prettier than them." he says chuckling. i giggle softly as he walks inside.
After we were out, i was patting a bag of dried fruit hugging it to me. "River... Want some when we get home?" he asks as he puts up some bags in a white mustang. "Now River, I got a tattoo, Want to see it?" he asks. I nod and he puts me in a car seat. He lifts the sleeve of his shirt and shows a silver fox and the words 'My Little River' underneath it. "So pretty!" i say as he chuckles. he gets into his car and drives out quickly making the tires squeal on paving.

We were at the pack house before i knew it and guards take the bags from the trunk but i snatch the dried fruit from one before they could take it and Alexander chuckles carrying me out of the car. Once we step inside the house heads snap to me and i hide the fruit behind my back. they chuckle or smile and The bag is snatched from me by Alexander holding it up over his head. i pout as he sets me down and i stick my thumb in my mouth watching him walk into the kitchen. the intensity of everyone's stares makes me shift slightly but i tilt my head.
"So you're the future daughter of the Alpha?" a man asks. he was tall and had blue-green eyes and blonde hair. after a moment i nod and he smirks. "Okay." with that he leaves. the room was large, dark leather couches, mahogany coffee table, Seventy-Five inch TV with game devices and such. A moment later Alexander walks in and hand me a bowl of fruit. I smile slightly and he sits on a couch next to a guy. i eat it silently shifting every now and then as people stare with adoration and joy in their eyes. "She's beautiful Alpha." an elderly lady comments from the multiple people. Alexander smiles slightly and i shuffle to him.
He sets me on his lap where i hide behind his arms. Everyone chuckles including him and I eat the rest of the fruit watching everyone.
TERRIBLY sorry for it being shorter, SPOILER!!!! chapter. 16 will bring a shocker and grief...
