Chapter 27, Ohh.

Before you all read on lemme tell you something.
my pool is cold.
Something big is going to happen in this chapter and i want you to guess before you read on. Cool? cool.

I wake up with a small yawn. I was curled up in someone's chest. i open my eyes showing Alexander's face. i smile slightly and he grunts slightly as he frowns. fear made its way across his features and he reaches out with a whimper.

"Daddy?" i ask poking his cheek. he jolts up with a small gasp and blinks at me. i grab his still lifted arm and i pull it down with a small frown. "Daddy? Are you okay?" i ask softly. He sighs softly.

"It was just a nightmare..." he says quietly. "Want to tell me?" i ask. He tilts his head a small smile making its way. "Yeah... i suppose.. Well we were together in a field. it was nice and sunny. but then, fog circled you and you were fading. i tried to reach for you but my hand went straight through you..." he says softly.

"That won't ever happen!" I say with determination. He smiles. "Your right it won't." he says as if trying to convince himself. I huddle into his warm chest chest and he kisses my forehead. "Daddy... Can i have... a cookie?" i ask.

he blinks at me twice and i giggle. "Of course! Who doesn't want a cookie in the morning?" He asks chuckling. He climbs out of bed and heads to his walk in closet.

I stretch my arms and legs out before huddling back under the covers against the chill. He then walks into the bathroom just as i begin to doze off.

I wake up in Alexander's arms. he had Chocolate Chip Cookies sitting on the desk of his office. he was doing paper work and with a sigh he settles back.

"Cookie." i whisper. Alexander jumps slightly and i giggle. "Jeez River. You scared me." he says chuckling. I smile slightly and he hand me a cookie which i immediately bite into.

i sigh looking around and he takes one himself. "River. In a few days it is your birthday. What theme do you want?" he asks. "Pool party!" i say.

"Okay. What of your present what do you want?" he asks. i pause before shrugging. "I dunno." i say nibbling my cookie.

(Ugh extreme Writers Block o.o)

I finish the cookie just as the door opens. i tilt my head and i see Andrew. "Alpha. More rogues!" Andrew says quickly. i scramble off and into the couch taking a cookie with me and i sit nibbling on it as Alexander runs out.

I yawn as i finish my cookie. i shrug and stand. i walk out and down the stairs. I hear a crash from the kitchen and i freeze. i tip toe forwards and i see two of the pack members trying to get a hit at each other.

"Stop!" i say pouting. they spin around and blink. "um.. Yes Alpha's daughter." they say bowing their heads. I smile slightly and i turn skipping out.

I see Mira watching a TV show called Animal planet and i sit next to her. "Hi River." she says smiling slightly. "Hi Mira." i say as Alice and Alicia run around chasing each other around the house giggling. "Stay in the house you two!" she calls. "Yes mommy!" they reply.

i hear a loud BOOM and the girls run in here and whimper. "Mommy! lets hide!" They say. Mira nods and takes their hands pulling them up to a room. the door crashes down and I spin around. a woman in dark clothing slinks in and stops when she sees me. "River..." her voice was shaky but it held relief and joy. i take a step back as she pulls of a weird cloth helmet.

she had golden rings and had the same color eyes as me. They were bright green. she smiles slightly. "River I am your true mommy." she whispers. my eyes widen.

(No this isn't the big part yet... okay it is a part.)

"B-But i thought my mommy was in the dungeons." I say frozen. two people barrel down the stairs and i see Andrew and Collen. "Mom..?" they ask shocked. "my little boys! Where is... Mike.?" she asks. I flinch slightly. "He... died protecting River." Andrew says.

mommy... or whoever she was had tears in her eyes. She only nods with a small smile. "He's in a better place now." she says softly. Alexander barrels in and then freezes. "Mine." he growls looking right at mommy. she too freezes and smells the air. she slowly turns to face Alexander. he mouth forms an 'o' and she hesitantly steps forwards. I smile slightly and Andrew and Collen grab me and rush upstairs to my room. i giggle before yawning. it was getting dark out.

"Sleep. We will wake you in the morning." Collen says with a small smile as i crawl under the blankets. Soon i let myself slip into a peaceful sleep as the tip toe out.
