I tried to open my eyes but they wouldn't cooperate. My eye lids felt so heavy that they didn't want to even lift up. With a lot of efforts I opened my eyes and the very next moment I was blinded by the sunlight that hit me straight through the window probably. I tried to lift myself off the bed as I rubbed my eyes but the second I tried doing the said I felt a weight of somewhat ten thousand kilos over my head- if that is even possible. My head was being run over by race horses maybe because it was hurting worse than anything.

I pressed my head between my hands as I let out an irked voice. I sat up straight on the bed with a great difficulty.

God, what happened?

Ugh. It. Was. Hurting. So. Bad. My head!

Scratch horses, there was a whole fucking zoo racing inside of it! Hammering my head with their footwork.

I closed my eyes tight for once and then slowly opened them again. The blinding light started to subside and I could now get a clearer vision of the surroundings. It was familiar but it wasn't the room I used to wake up in everyday. I ran my eyes around the room and found nothing similar to my belongings.

Where was I?

I got up and off from the bed and the second my feet touched the ground my head started spinning like a freaking ferris wheel. I thumped back down on the bed pressing my forehead in between my hands again.

God, why was the world spinning around me?!

As the spinning subsided after a while my brain hit me with sense. Just to be sure I looked around the place I was at again. This is Manik's house. How did I get here?!  I tried to send my brains on a trip back to last night and all I could recall was that I was at the club with Navya and Abhimanyu. Then I saw Manik over there, I got angry over him and got drunk.

Okay. But what did I do after that?

Think Nandini think.

"Ugh!" I groaned in frustration and paced around the room trying to remember what I did after that but I got no positive results.

What kind of disorder is this?! I don't remember anything I did after that and how am I over here? Why was I not at home?

"Morning sweetheart" I suddenly heard his voice fill in the room I was in. I turned behind instantly, "You feel any better?" He asked me while walking towards me.

"I feel terrible." The words slip out of my mouth.

He chuckled, "Was it your first time?" He asked and I looked at him clueless, "at getting drunk?" He elaborated as he stood in front of me.

"No but.. it's not really my thing" I raised my hand to my forehead to massage the arising pain.

"I figured that very well last night itself," he snorted and that striked a bell in my head. What the hell did I do last night?

"Manik, what did I do after getting drunk?" I asked cautiously hoping that I hadn't done anything idiotic.

He let out a short laugh and moved towards the bed side. A second later he was again in front of me with a tablet of aspirin in his one hand and a glass of water in the other.

"We'll talk of that later first have these." He gave them to me and I smiled a little before popping the pill in my mouth and gulping it down with water.
