I pulled away from Nam Joon, staring at him blankly.
"Nam Joon, what are you talking about? This isn't funny, stop fooling around. " I said.
"I'm not joking. I like you. " Nam Joon said and let out a loud sigh.
"You know.. I always see you as a best friend- "
Nam Joon cut me off before I could finish my sentence.
"Yeah yeah, you only see me as a best friend. Heh, I knew this'll happen to me, but I just got to confess my feelings. Too bad I'm not the main character in your life, I'm just a supporting character. And as a supporting character, I'm meant to be rejected. " he ranted.
"Joon, I'm sorry. " I mumbled.
"It's okay. " Nam Joon answered, "Even though I know you won't accept my feelings, I still think that I should tell you how I felt. I felt a lot better after confessing. "
He sighed again, staring into thin air with a smile.
"Guess I've been rejected by my own best friend. " Nam Joon chuckled, shaking his head and return to his seat.
I know Nam Joon knows me the best, and he treats me the best, but I just can't feel the same for him. Nam Joon is a great guy, and I'm pretty sure girls would love to be his girlfriend.
I felt bad for rejecting him, but it's better than dating a person I don't love, right? It's better to tell him the truth, right?
I pulled my chair and sat on it, my eyes didn't leave Nam Joon, who was staring out to the window.
"Hey. " I poked his arm.
"What's up? " he asked, turning to face me.
"I'm truly sorry. " I said, "Sorry for breaking your heart, Nam Joon. "
"I'm fine, but promise me one thing. " he suddenly said, holding up his pinky finger, "Stop crying. You look fucking ugly when you cry. "
I smiled, hooking my pinky finger with his.
"I promise you. "
"That's my girl. " Nam Joon laughed.

"Hey, (Y/N)~ " Yuna chirped, catching up with me.
"Hi. " I said coldly.
"Where are you heading to? " she asked.
I rolled my eyes, "Home, duh. "
"Oh. So.. I was thinking maybe we should go shopping on weekend- "
"No, Kim Yuna. I'm busy. " I said.
"Ah.. I guess you're not in the good mood now. " she mumbled, "Anyway, my birthday's coming up, and I would like to invite you to my birthday party at my house. You'll come, right? "
I sighed, "Can't promise. Bye. "
Leaving Yuna behind, I stepped on my skateboard and skated back to home.
