Jonathan read the article.
Stephanie hadn't told him yet, and he knew what he had to do.
He hopped in his car, the thunderstorm raging outside the car.
Stephanie noticed headlights as she sat in the front room of the family home.
Stephanie came home after Los Angeles, and just read the article and was annoyed.
She already knew it was Jonathan.
Jonathan ran in the house, Stephanie stood up and saw a unsure man in front of her.
"Is it true?" he asked looking down at her stomach. She grasped her stomach and nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked shutting the door and making his way over to her.
"I don't know, you cheated remember?" She said.He sat down across from her.
"I wanted to tell you, I really did Jon. But you screwed up ok." She said.
"I haven't seen her in six months. We haven't slept together in over a year." He stated.
"How do I not know if that's a lie?" Stephanie quizzed.
"Because you saw that date, that date was from six months ago. She called me a few weeks ago in New York. Then wanted to get back together. I said no." he stated.
"Jon, I trusted you. the kids trusted you." she said sitting down.
"I know, but trust me when I say this- I am madly in love with you. I always have been, and will until the day I die." He said walking over and she stood up.
"I will always regret what I've done, but i'll never regret loving you."
"I'm here to stay." he finished before they kissed.
