All of us got off the plane, as we entered the streets of New York. We were here for a little family vacation as well as a photo shoot for Bella. Ever since nationals, her name is getting out. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing for a ten year old.

"Bella step back from the curb." Stephanie said as Bella rolled her luggage. She stood back. "Where to first?" I asked as our rental car came around. "The hotel." Bella and Steph said and I nodded. The traffic right now was actually pretty good. Not too slow, not too fast.

Bella was the only one with us this weekend, we left Sean back with the Sharps- so we didn't have to constantly look down and see where he went.

We finally made it to our hotel and the girls took  the luggage while I go try to find a parking spot. I found one a little far from the doors but I think we can manage.

As I was walking towards the doors somebody stopped me.

"May I get a photo?" A guy asked. "Shore." I smiled. "I'm Nik,just thought I would let you know." He laughed. We took the photo and he went on his way.

"Jonathan Toews." I said to the front desk.

"Room 34,floor three." The guy gave me my key and I thanked him.

"Sorry I took so long." I apologized a I walked in.

"It's alright." Stephanie waved me off. I peeked into the connecting room and saw Bella on my iPad.

"Are we gonna do lunch?" I asked. "Ya. Let me look some up." Stephanie said grabbing her laptop.

"Hey guys. Wanna go to Jean-Georges. It's right by Central Park." She said. Bella came in and sat down on our bad. "Shore." She smiled. They looked at me.
"Whatever you guys want. Is good." I said grabbing the keys I put down earlier.

We all walked outside to the car and got in.

"This is worse than Chicago." Steph complained. I laughed. "Says the one who isn't driving." I laughed and Steph shook her head.
"Can I get a phone?" Bella asked. "No you can't sweetie." I Replied. "Why? Everyone on the team has one." She huffed.

"They are more responsible." Stephanie replied. Bella rolled her eyes, I saw through the rearview mirror.

"Does this sound good?" She asked. "To everyone at the competition and the team, I'm sorry for my actions. I didn't intend to say those things and I certainly never want to going forward." She said. "It's good." I replied smiling at her.
