Third person POV:

"Hey! Put us down Papa!" A little girl squealed, "Shhhhh, my lovelies, I have a surprise for all of you!"The father carried the children into a clearing in the forest, only to what seemed like, just take them there. "Can you see anything?" "Ohhhhh! Yes! Up there Papa, in the trees!" the little girl exclaimed. "Good eyes my child, you always did have amazing ones." He turned towards the children standing there, there was a child with raven black hair, sandy blond hair, brown hair, and dark brown hair, almost black. "Common guys!" The little girl exclaimed. The man went to a corner of the clearing, as all of the children climbed into the house in the trees, all but two. "Common, why wait?" The little boy with the sandy hair was nervously standing on the ground, as the black haired girl  walked up to him, "I'm scared that I'll fall down....." "That's ok, look, since you're scared, you can help me mark our tree!" The two walked over to a sharp piece of bark, and engraved their initials onto the tree, and held each other's hand as they climbed up the ladders to join their friends.

Garroth's POV:

As I snapped back into reality, I saw a crying girl staring back at me. Her raven black hair was now flowing down her sides, and her sun-kissed skin radiated the moonlight, making her glow. Her dress was beautiful(you guys know how it looks like), and her caramel eyes reflected the starlight. "WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" She melted onto the ground and started sobbing. I walked over to her and knelt down on to the ground, "I don't want anything, tell me miss, why are you so sad?" She lifted her face up and looked at me with large eyes, "My parents want me to marry someone I don't even know; right when I turn of age, I get my freedom taken away from me." "I know the feeling. But please, don't cry, I'm sure that you look so beautiful when you smile." I wiped away her tears, and she smiled.

"Thank you, you just made my day so much better. Not that it wasn't already amazing, until tonight." "I'm in quite a horrible situation myself, if I dare say so. Almost the same," I said. Her eyes were quizzical, but she asked no questions. "I so wish the world was a better place," she whispered, "Wars, and crimes and forced relationships do no good in the world." "Wow," I said, "you must be passionate about this. Not that I wish other wise, that is." "Yes, I am. My kingdom is at war, and honestly, I just want it to end." She looked up at the stars, their light reflecting in her beautiful eyes.

"Well," I say, "I'm afraid that I will have to be going, my parents will worry about where I am." "I see," she says, "But before you go, I must ask you one question." As she stood up her perpetual beauty struck me again. "And that would be?" "How fair do you think the world is?" "Well, I don't think it's fair at all, frankly. People should do what they want in life." "That is all I needed to hear." And with that she curtsied and strode off into the night.

Author's note:

I'm sorry that this was kinda short this time guys, it took me a long time to write the previous chapter, and I was at a writer's block on how to lengthen this chapter more than I had already done. I promise a update tomorrow, although it might be a bit late, because I have to do a performance peace. I will try to get it out as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding. Before I close, I just want to say that thank you, to the slowly growing view of this, it means the world to me as I am just starting out.

Cya when I do!
